Biography of Zemfira

Zemfira Ramazanova was born in 1976 in Ufa. Her father was a history teacher, and her mother was a doctor. From the age of four she showed musical talents, and a year later her parents gave Zemfira a piano class in a music school. The girl liked not only to perform musical works, but also to compose them herself. So, in the first grade of school she performed her first song in front of her mother's colleagues in the hospital. Ramil, an older brother of Zemfira, was fond of rock, it was from him that she became infected with love for this musical genre. She liked the works of "Queen" and "Black Sabbath." In addition to music, she also took a great interest in sports, and in the 90th year she became captain of the youth basketball team of the RSFSR. At the same time she graduated from music school. Zemfira gives the first concerts on the sidewalks of Ufa, playing the songs of Russian rock bands known at that time: "Nautilus Pompilius", "Kino", etc. Certainly many residents of the Bashkir capital today remember how in the early nineties they sang in the street herself Zemfira, whose discography today includes more than 10 albums.

Way to success

After school, Zemfira entered immediately to the 2 nd year of the Ufa music school, specializing in "pop vocal", where she got acquainted with several musicians: a drummer, a saxophonist, and pianists. Together with them, she began to work part-time in local taverns, performing jazz improvisations.

After graduation Zemfira starts work on the radio "Europe +" (Ufa). It is there that she manages to record her first experience on tape: the songs "Snow", "Why?", "Weatherwriter". After they started broadcasting on the radio, the audience became aware of the name Zemfira. The discography of the singer includes more than 10 albums, one of which includes her first songs.

Since 1998, Zemfira begins to perform with its own band of the same name. At one of the festivals the singer is noticed by the producer of the Mumiy Troll group L. Burlakov, and he understands that he is the future star. Producer invites her to Moscow, where her songs are already professionally recorded. So the singer gets on the big stage. Zemfira: concerts of 2013

Last year, Zemfira pleased residents of Russia, as well as neighboring countries with their concerts. She managed to give more than fifty concerts in many cities of Siberia and the Trans-Urals: Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Barnaul, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk, Omsk, etc. In all three capitals of the Baltic states; In Tatarstan; In several cities of Ukraine; in the Far East.
