Yadviga Poplavskaya, whose biography is presented in this article, was born in 1949 in Belarus. She was one of the founders and participants of the famous in the Soviet era ensemble "Veresa". She was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Republic of Belarus.

Biography

Yadviga Poplavskaya was born in the family of a famous musician in Belarus. Her father was a choirmaster. He is one of the founders of the State Folk Choir of the Republic. In the family, Jadwiga was an average daughter. All in all, her parents had three children. Her father dreamed of a family ensemble. Elder sister Christina was supposed to play the piano. Yadvige expected the career of a violinist. And younger brother Czeslaw, according to his father, was to become a cellist. Yadviga Poplavskaya was trained for only a year on the violin. She was a diligent and conscientious student, but she was hard at this musical instrument. Then the father decided to put the girl at the piano. The game on this tool Yadviga learned successfully. After graduation she graduated from the Belarusian Conservatoire in two departments - pianoforte and composition. A year later they became soloists of the State Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, which is still managed by Mikhail Finberg.

Since 1988 Yadviga Poplavskaya and A. Tikhonovich began to work as a duet. In the same year they organized their own song theater. Among other things, Yadviga Konstantinovna voiced the cartoon "Alisa's Birthday". In 2005 she received the title of People's Artist of Belarus.

Her husband is an artist, they have worked together for many years in a duet. They have a daughter who was born in 1980. Her name is Anastasia Tihanovich. She, too, like her parents, a singer, very often performs with them at concerts. Recently Yadviga Konstantinovna became a grandmother, her grandson Ivan was born.

As already mentioned above, Yadviga Poplavskaya is the wife of the Belarusian artist Alexander Tikhanovich. He was born in 1952 in Belarus. The future singer studied at the Suvorov Military School. He liked all subjects except mathematics. There was a brass band in the school, and Alexander noticed that the children who played in him were often released from other lessons for rehearsals.
