From school times, he was successful in the natural sciences: mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology, but even then the talented student was drawn to creativity.

In 17 years Alexander Sukhanov wrote his first song "The Stork flies into the clouds," which in the future will win the hearts of thousands of fans of the genre of the author's song. At the same time he makes his way to the All-Union Mathematical Olympiad, thanks to the results of which he was offered to study at once in two best universities of the USSR: the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and the Moscow State University. Sukhanov preferred the University named after Lomonosov and entered the faculty of Mehmat. In his student days, the lyricist not only hit the professor with his intellect and the talent of mathematics, but continued to write poetry, pick melodies and even write songs to the works of such great poets as Pushkin, Khayyam, Verlaine, Rubtsov and Marshak. In addition, at this time Alexander Sukhanov directs the symphony orchestra of his school. Surprisingly, the guitar, thanks to which the biography of this man is so interesting to all of us, fell into the hands of a bard during his student years. He from childhood masterfully mastered the violin, pianoforte, accordion, but the love of guitar strings came later. Moscow State University Alexander Sukhanov graduates with honors, and later defends his work for a Ph.D. Throughout his life, in parallel with the work of the composer and composer, Sukhanov is working as a mathematician, first teaching in one of the higher military schools, and after and in his native university, where, already being a senior research fellow, he receives a doctorate.

Alexander Sukhanov gained fame 24 years after performing at the Moscow amateur song club. Later, he continues to play with concerts throughout the country, looking to the most remote corners of the country, traveling with relatives in Europe and North America. Alexander was awarded a number of awards, including the Tsarskoselskaya art award and the prize of the Grushinsky Festival. Personal life

Sukhanov Alexander is married to Liza Sukhanova, a former student of the philological faculty of Moscow State University. They met as graduate students of the country's main university. Together they brought up 4 children: two girls from the first marriage of Alexander and daughter Lisa.
