"Green Chains": actors in life and cinema

The legendary Soviet film "Green Chains" is a kind of a masterpiece of cinematography of that time. The film is based on a rather unusual story from the military life with extremely topical inclusions.

Playing their heroes in the movie "Green Chains", the actors fully joined in the role, which gave their game a special flavor.

Sasha Grigoriev played the role of Mishka Alekseyev, a kind and open boy. Vladimir Lelyotko - bold and enterprising Styopka Panfilov. Both teenagers successfully defeated their characters.

The plot of the movie

The events of the film unfold in 1941 in Leningrad. Two seemingly ordinary boys - Mishka and Stepka - return home after being in the pioneer camp.

On the way home they get acquainted with a man and, by the kindness of the soul, help him carry his heavy luggage - a big and heavy suitcase in which, as the stranger stated, there are museum minerals.

But in view of the sudden onset of the bombing, the guys lose sight of the random fellow traveler, as a result, his suitcase remains with the guys.

Having reached their native Leningrad, Mishka and Stepa decided to open a valuable luggage. And what was their surprise, when instead of minerals they discover a signal pistol with light missiles ...

Guys for the sake of a joke decide to shoot a rocket launcher and thus fall under the suspicion of counterintelligence officers. As it turned out later, similar missiles were used by fascist scouts to target enemy bombers. To submit a conditional signal, the fascist agent needed to release exactly five such green missiles, and then the enemy quickly attacked and bombed everything in the radius of the received signal.

After a conversation with representatives of intelligence, the guys, in spite of the prohibitions of adults, decide to find their own fellow traveler on their own.

Simultaneously with them, a similar task is received by Major Burakov, and the guys agree to help him get on the trail of such dangerous saboteurs.

From this moment the boys fall into situations unusual for this age. Dangerous persecution repeatedly causes children to walk on the blade of the knife. Simultaneously, the plot of the film includes the death of the mother of one of the heroes. It falls under bombardment, being on the territory of a bakery, which fell under the fascist shelling after the launch of missiles called "green chains" (the actors at that moment are very vain in the episodes).

As a result, the efforts of the children turn out to be in vain, and they attack the trail of a fascist agent, thereby making a feasible contribution to the nationwide struggle for the defense of the Motherland.
