Simon Bellamy - a psycho or social outcast?

Once popular in the UK series "Scum" was doomed to success. The main role (Simon Bellamy) went to Ivan Reon.

Natural scenery (the shooting took place in the southeastern area of London West Ham) make it closer to the youth of Britain. The London "ghetto", easily identified by the same towers that appeared on the series more than once, and Lake Southmere, fits perfectly into the plot and conveys the atmosphere of doom and rejection by society.

Charming psycho or cruel killer?

Initially, the producers of the series were betting on all the characters, except for Simon. His image was far from being the main one, if not to say secondary, but Simon Bellamy managed to draw attention to himself and become a favorite of the audience. "Dross" has become for Ivan Rayon a runway in the world of cinema. Previously filmed in the secondary roles of second-rate television series, Ivan not only managed to pull his hero out of the shadows, but he himself revealed himself as a versatile and versatile actor capable of a cardinal reincarnation. The actor of one role is certainly not about him.

Later, cruel psychopath Ramsey Bolton ("The Game of Thrones") in his performance only strengthened the critics' opinion that Ivan perfectly embodied completely opposite images and has undoubted talent.

Simon Bellamy is one of the members of the "scum" - a flock of teenagers sent by the court to public useful works for petty faults: arson, driving without rights in a drunken state, using and selling drugs, and fighting.

Originally a shy and meek social outcast, Simon, after falling into the storm, gained the ability to become invisible, which ultimately led to the degeneration into a superhero with the ability to foresee and travel through time.

Its history

Simon Bellamy was "accidentally" invited to the club by a school buddy named Matt. Later, when it turns out that the SMS was sent erroneously, Simon decides to take revenge. Nothing better than how to set Matt's house in the head of a young hero does not come, and he decides on this desperate step. In the flaming fire, Simon notices a cat who personally did not do anything to him badly, and the next decision is to put out the fire. But do it not in the usual way, but pissing through the mailbox at the door. Behind this occupation he is caught by the police.

Before imposing an accusation on Simon and sending him to public works, law enforcement officers send the young man to a psychiatric hospital to establish his adequacy. There he meets a girl who becomes so obsessed with him that after a storm that gave her the gift of a chameleon, she decides (not quite successfully) "to take Simon to her hands."

Become your

Before being in the field of view only with his subscribers on the YouTube channel (he does not part with his phone taking everything off during the first season), Simon Bellamy struggles to be seen by ordinary people in real life.

Teens sent to the same correctional labor as Simon Bellamy later become his real and only friends. Among them, he meets his girlfriend, who tries to protect, for which he even returns from the future. It is she who promotes the fact that he turns from an ugly duckling into an intelligent and self-assured man.

The closer the "scum"

The series became popular not only because of its black (sometimes English) humor, but also "closeness" to the youth of Great Britain. When the writers created the story, they were inspired by the most common teenagers practicing their punishment in the vicinity of London. The idea to give them supernormal abilities and became that chip that attracted and caught the attention of viewers. As the ratings of the show later showed, not only Great Britain has problem youth who want to find their place in life.

To all else, the shooting took place in a familiar and close to every British London, so it's no surprise that the series was successful in the homeland.

The gold lineup kept attention for three seasons: "gopnitsa" Kelly, athlete Curtis, Alisha's torn off, "company's soul" Nathan and, of course, the gang of the gang Simon Bellamy. Quotes and jokes from the series (for example, "get ready to be stunned, snap and get so fucked") replenished the verbal stock of young people not only in Britain, but all over the world.
