Gmo What Is It And What Does It Eat?

Why had people been healthier before than now? Because they used to eat healthy food, what they had grown up in their garden. No chips, popcorn, Coca-Cola was not - it was just what was grown in the garden. Now it's the other way around. Increasingly popular is fast food, non-standard food (chips, popcorn, etc.), which is very harmful to the body if it is included in your daily diet constantly. And this is all - high technology. But they are not always as good as they seem. For example, adding food or plants to GMOs. Gmo what is it?

GMOs are genetically modified organisms, the genes of which are "introduced" into a plant or animal, changing it. GMOs are very often used in agriculture, in order to increase yields, as well as its resistance to bacteria and parasites. GMO is good because when you enter such an "injection", many types of vegetables and fruits increase significantly in size, which in the future will help to sell this product. But among all these pluses, GMOs have their cons. One can even say that the damage to GMOs is much stronger in consequences than its usefulness.

The influence of GMOs on the body can be unpredictable, when using it there is always the risk of any deviations.

For example, with the modification of the genome of the organism, it may happen that, in addition to useful in the product, "harmful substances", for example toxins, can also "settle in".

Since GMOs are resistant to unfavorable conditions, it can displace other varieties, and because of this, combine the gene pool of useful crops. Now, when the question "gmo that this" is a little open, let us single out one more of its negative features.

Another of the disadvantages is that all GMOs are patented, and if they are used by agricultural producers, they will be forced to give them some money for this.

Because of all these risks, the safety of GMOs should be carefully checked in various conditions to identify the negative aspects of this GMO.

In many countries, there are definitions for the question "what is that?" - GMOs include foreign bodies that can lead to a mutation of the human body. This, of course, is a delusion. Those who said this, do not know the exact mechanism and arrangement of GMOs. But in some countries, due to the high pressure of citizens, the release of products containing GMOs is limited and constantly monitored.

But on the other hand, there have been cases when using products containing GMOs, there were mutations of the human body or infection with infections. Therefore, I must say that it is impossible to predict the harm of GMOs more or less: it will burn both useful and very harmful.

In Russia there is not yet a single type of GMO that would be allowed to be introduced into agricultural products. However, imports of products containing GMOs from other countries are permitted.

Now a bit of history. How and when did GMOs appear?

The official date of birth of the GMO is 1994. This was found when in the United States of America grown in large quantities of tomatoes, which during transportation did not lose their physical and external conditions.

Such tomatoes were stored in green for more than 5 months at a temperature of 13-15 degrees, and then ripened to a bright pink color at room temperature.

At the present time, there is such a potato that the Colorado beetle does not eat , the wheat and rye that is strongly resistant to high moisture (the scorpion gene is implanted), tomatoes (they incorporate the flounder gene, which allows them to grow in the northern latitudes), strawberries with embedded bacterial genes For long-term storage.

But we can not be 100% sure that this is a completely natural and harmless product! Even when purchasing a product with an inscription without GMO, we can not be sure that there are no harmful substances in this product. I hope this article was able to answer the question "what's this gmo".
