Glued board - an indispensable floor covering

The wide variety of floor coverings offered by the modern market of finishing materials gives unlimited possibilities for creating an individual interior due to the variety of colors and different textured surfaces of materials. But no matter how high-quality modern floor coverings, a real comfortable atmosphere in the room can only create materials made of wood.

Shpuntovannaya board is an edging sawn timber for the floor. It is ecologically safe, natural finishing material, possessing high soundproof and heat-insulating properties. The use of a grooved board in the finish of the floor makes it possible to obtain an almost perfectly smooth, smooth surface that does not have any gaps. A tight connection is achieved due to the presence of a spike and groove located on the different end faces of the board. In addition, the grooved board has such high-quality characteristics as high reliability, durability, resistance to mechanical and chemical influences. In addition to a reliable connection, the tongue serves as a uniform pressure distributor between the adjacent boards. A pamphlet board can be given an initial appearance. To do this, perform a cycle, followed by polishing the floor and processing with wax-based compounds or a colorless varnish.

High-quality sheet piling is made only with the use of properly processed wood. This is a three-dimensional concept, which includes the process of harvesting wood, drying it, and subsequent processing on special machines. In this case, only the wood having a moisture content of which the limits should not exceed 10% is produced. Otherwise, higher humidity will contribute to deformation of the board during the first heating season.

After drying, the grooved board is subjected to the treatment of the end surfaces, where on the one hand a groove is made, and on the other - a spike along the entire length. The fixation of the "spike-groove" is considered one of the most reliable, despite the appearance of more modern technologies of joining flooring. Thanks to this connection, the sheet pile for the floor has a high strength, which is preserved during the whole period of its operation. In addition, when the tongue or groove is made at the ends of the board , additional grooves of shallow depth are also sawed, the main purpose of which is to ensure good air circulation to prevent accumulation of excessive moisture that can promote rotting processes and the appearance of pathogenic microbes and fungus.

The main characteristics that the flooring board possesses are its length, width and thickness. A sufficiently large thickness makes it possible to lay directly on the logs with a step between them of 50-60 centimeters. In standard manufacture, the grooved floor board has a length of 6 meters with a width of 20 centimeters and a thickness of 45 mm.
