For sure, many know about the status of the event called the Rock-Line, held annually in the capital of the Perm region. By popularity, it is not inferior to "Invasion".

Historical reference

Initially, the rock festival Rock-Line was held in Kungur. Back in 1998 he was included in the presidential program "Youth of Russia", becoming one of the best events of the country. Who organized such a large-scale project now? The founder of Rock-Line became the well-known producer and musician Oleg Novoselov, who, unfortunately, is no longer alive. He wanted to organize a concert platform on the roof of the local Stalagmit hotel, and place spectators on the slope of the Ice Cave - a kind of natural amphitheater.

The first Rock-Line for two days was visited by about 11 thousand people. The festival "Rock Line - 2015" (Perm) was traditionally held in summer in the territory of Bakharevka airport.

Received more than three hundred applications from those who wish to participate in this grandiose event. Members of the jury also provided an opportunity to speak to the collective from the Crimea. Belarus, Israel, Latvia, Finland - these and many other countries were represented at the rock festival this year.

For two days the audience was entertained by popular bands, including "Stepanova's Starlings", REVOLUTION, "Steam Engine" (St. Petersburg), PRANA (Moscow), White Noise (Israel).

Leading Rock-Line became well-known radio DJ Yana Gessle and Andrei Shmurai, as well as "duty on the city" Igor Gindis.

The concert platform was designed in a "black cabinet". A widescreen monitor was installed across the width of the backdrop, the length of which was 12.5 meters, and the height was 3 meters. This equipment of the stage allowed each team to get the most out of audio and video content.

What I remember the first day

The beginning of the event was scheduled for 6 pm on 26 June.

On the first day of the festival the audience was subdued by the performance of the famous Petersburg group "Submarine". The girl-soloist, who appeared in the image of a rabbit with a guitar, did not leave anyone indifferent. At the end of the first day the notorious "Starlings of Stepanov" performed. Perm collectives this time demonstrated diverse styles in music. Classical rock was played by the band "Jamahiriya", ethnic notes sounded in the compositions of the "Troin" collective, and SING SONG reminded the audience about the "jacket" rock and roll. In general, hooligan tunes on this day was abound.

It is worth noting and the performance of the domestic band Princesse Angine. Exclusive notes of violin and non-trivial texts added romanticism to the general mood of the audience.

At midnight the guests were entertained by the participants of the sensational project "Kinochnok", while the Perm collectives Soultrane and Reined introduced the audience to the original musical vision of Ernst Lubich's silent films: the comedy "The Princess of Oysters" and the drama "The Eyes of the Mummy Ma". Also on the scene were the bands "Mars need lovers" and The AIRA.

What I remember the second day

The next day the audience came out to entertain the musicians from the well-known collective "Bravo". It was he who became the headliner of the festival. Negotiations about the performance of the popular group by Elena Zorina-Novosyolova were conducted in advance. The famous hit "Yellow Shoes" the musicians did not sing, but the trumpet. Words from the hitman immediately began to be heard from the crowd, and even those who were not an ardent fan of "Bravo", sang along with everyone. Then it was the turn to the famous hit "Of course, Vasya".

The audience immediately began to sing loudly, and then to dance a twist. Leaving the administrative affairs, Helen herself came out to have fun with the people. "This is another nostalgic composition from our distant life," commented the soloist of the band Eugene Havtan. For information, he and Robert Lenz remarkably performed the hits that Zhanna Aguzarova and Valery Syutkin sang at one time . Anyway, but at "Bravo", as at a headliner, at a festival there were potential competitors: Julia Kogan who acted once with group "Leningrad", and Svetlana Surganova. However, the budget of "Rock Line" was modest, and in the end the legendary collective "Bravo" agreed to act as a headliner: there was no need to persuade musicians for a long time.

Degree of organization of the festival

As already emphasized, the organizers do not provide entrance fee for the "Rock Line" festival. Within the boundaries of the airport, a tent camp was created, in which each guest was provided with accommodation. This shelter cost 200 rubles, and the parking price of the car - another 200 rubles. Over the past year alone, about 40,000 guests from all regions of Russia came to the event.

Next year, the festival will celebrate its twenty-year anniversary. For fifteen years in a row, "Rock Line" is held in Perm.
