Fence net: photo, installation, installation

Sooner or later, each owner of a private house faces the question of what material to do the fencing of his site. In recent years, many owners choose an easy and relatively inexpensive mesh fence, a photo of which can be viewed further. After reading this article, you will learn about the main advantages of such products.

What is a rabitsa?

This is a fairly strong and relatively cheap construction material used for the production of fences. You can buy it in almost any specialized store. As a rule, it is produced in rolls, so it can be transported without any problems to any distances.

To erect such a fence, does not necessarily refer to specialists. You can mount a mesh fence with your own hands. With this task any newcomer who does not have building skills will be able to cope.

Existing varieties

To date, two types of net fencing are very popular among our compatriots:

  • Stretch, which is a simple design. Welding and complex tools are not required for their construction. To stretch the grid, you can use even the elementary wooden fasteners.
  • Sectional, installed with metal frames.

For quick installation, it is advisable to choose a straining fence net. Despite its external simplicity, it is quite effective.

Types of mesh-rabitsy

To date, manufacturers produce three main types of similar products. All of them differ from each other by the material used for their manufacture. The galvanized mesh is made of black metal. It must be painted immediately after installation. Otherwise, the mesh fence will quickly begin to become rusty. In the future it will be necessary to update the paint layer every three years.

In recent years, fences made of galvanized slabs have become very popular. The demand for such products is explained by the fact that they are very resistant to corrosion. The only significant disadvantage of galvanized wire mesh can be considered its comparative high cost.

Relatively recently, the domestic market appeared products of plasticized rabitsa. The surface of this variety of mesh is treated with a protective polymer, which enhances the anti-corrosion properties. Products from it differ more aesthetic appearance.

The advantages and disadvantages of rails

Of course, such designs can not provide full protection for private households. In general, the installation of a mesh fence is carried out in the event of a need for temporary fencing. But, despite such a significant drawback, it is quite in demand among owners of detached cottages. Such popularity is due to the fact that such products have a number of undeniable advantages.

First of all, fences from the rabitsa do not interfere with the penetration of sunlight and do not obscure the local area. As a result, favorable conditions are created on the site, which contribute to the rapid growth of cultivated plants. Thanks to this, such structures have gained unprecedented popularity among summer residents. It is also important that the mesh fence is easy to install. Almost every owner will cope with its installation. In addition, the designs of the rabitsa are of low cost. Especially in comparison with brick fences.

As for the shortcomings of such products, they include the inability to prevent unauthorized intrusion into the local territory, as well as appearance. Not all consider mesh fences aesthetic.

Which poles are suitable for such structures?

Experienced masters know that the mesh fence can be erected in several different ways. Rabitsa is considered quite a light material, which is not peculiar to the sail. Therefore, it is often pulled on wooden poles. They can be made from peeled and pre-painted poles. To prolong the life of the part, it is recommended to treat the part that will be dug into the ground with a special waterproof mastic.

More reliable and durable are metal supports. As a rule, they are made of round or square pipes. In addition, the stores already sold ready-made steel legs, complete with already welded hooks. The purchase of such pillars will save a lot of time and energy.

Necessary tools and materials

Before you put a mesh fence, it is recommended to take care of preparation of improvised means in advance. During the installation you will need:

  • Drill or shovel;
  • Protective gloves;
  • cord;
  • Pegs;
  • roulette.

In addition, you need to stock up in advance with water, gravel, sand, cement and anti-corrosion mastic.

Mesh fence installation

At the initial stage it is necessary to make a markup of the site. To do this, in each of its angles, you should install one of the pre-stored pegs and pull the thread. Its length should be a couple of meters more than the size of the installed rabitsa. Then you need to determine the places in which the pillars will be piled up. The distance between adjacent supports should not exceed two and a half meters. Otherwise, the grid will begin to bend.

On the spot made marks should be digging pits for concrete piers. This can be done using a shovel or a drill. Pits should be fifteen centimeters deeper than the soil freezes.

Then you can proceed to install the corner posts. The bottom of the pit should be covered with sand and gravel and thoroughly rammed. To fix the pillars you need a special solution consisting of crushed stone, cement and sand, mixed in a ratio of 2: 2: 1. In the container with these components you need to add water. After thorough mixing, you should not get too liquid solution. It's something you need to use to fix the supports. In the process of carrying out work it is important to ensure that all the poles are located strictly perpendicular to the ground surface. After installing all the supports you need to wait for the complete hardening of the cement slurry. This can take from three to eight days. In hot summer days, it is recommended that the concrete be periodically watered. Otherwise, it will begin to crack and lose strength.

After the solution has dried completely, it is possible to start pulling the slab. First, you should carefully straighten the roll. The grid is fixed to the supports with the help of nails or pre-stored hooks. In order to avoid deflections near each pole, it is recommended to put a reinforcing bar in the cobbler.

Immediately after the completion of the installation work, you need to paint the fence. So you can protect it from corrosion.
