Exercise is a system of exercises for improving dance techniques. Classic Exercise

The classical dance lesson necessarily includes all the exercises for the whole body. They are performed in different tempos, rhythms, combinations, compounds and numbers of repetitions. Exercise is a complex of exercises designed to improve technique, which is the foundation of the dance.

This set of exercises is performed either at the machine tool, or in the middle of the hall for rehearsals. As a rule, this complex consists of squats (plie), "rondas" and batmanov. The classical exercise is performed under musical accompaniment or "at the expense of".

What is the essence of Exercise

In order to understand what exercise is, you need to know that, thanks to these exercises, the skills that are required for the expressive and correct performance of dance elements are worked out in classical dance lessons: flexibility, rotation, a big dance step, precise coordination of movements, strength, endurance, high leap And plastic hands.

In principle, exercise is a dance exercise for the development of the plasticity of the body and the motor culture. Having achieved the proper coordination of all body movements in the dance exercise, the dancer can later fill his movements with mood, thought, that is, make them expressive and artistic.

Modern Exercise

In modern form, exercise is a more perfect, refined and unified system of dance elements, combinations and exercises, developed on the basis of a long choreographic experience. All the elements of exercise included in the modern system of exercises after natural selection. Now this complex includes only really necessary elements, aimed at maximizing and training the psychophysical apparatus of the learner. Exercise is the basis of choreographic education for creating a "musical body" that can express the essence of a musical work with the help of dance plastic.

Components of Exercise

Each element of the exercise is a simple and purposeful plastic position of the body of the dancer with the inclusion of certain parts of it - legs, hands, body and head. Exercise is the ABC of choreographic vocabulary. The main components of the complex are: exercises of folk-stage and classical dance and musical material, on the basis of which these exercises are performed. The impact of these components is combined into a single process of dance and plastic development of the student. Movement and music form a choreographic and artistic basis, in the process of development of which dance is created.

Perfection of elements of exercise

Dance skill is acquired only if two important factors combine: training and purposeful mental activity of the learner. Exercise is an opportunity to achieve the most necessary coordination for the dancer at the highest possible level. The learner must be able to quickly and accurately reproduce the named or shown dance elements, and this experience can be worked out by practicing the exercise at the machine. Classical dance is not just movement, it is the creation of the necessary dynamic stereotype.

A special value of the exercise is also the fact that with its help it is possible to improve image elements of movements such as size, pace, number of repetitions, direction, muscle effort and character. That, in principle, is the main goal in developing and improving the plasticity of the body.

Sections of dance exercise

Exercise includes two sections: a complex of elements based on classical dance, and exercises based on folk-stage dance. Classic exercise is a complex, multistage and long process that requires patience. Every lesson in classical dance requires exercises for all parts of the body. It is worth noting the importance of the sequence of learning movements, it should not be random and should take into account the degree of difficulty of the elements, as well as their useful and logical combination.

For the first lessons, as a rule, choose a parterre exercise. In this variant, exercises for tension and relaxation of the leg muscles are first performed, then they work on the leg turnability. In the first weeks of classes the choreographer trains pupils with five positions of the legs, three positions of the hands, the correct position of the body and the preparatory positions of the hands. In exercise, a large load falls on the supporting leg, strongly turning, elongated and assuming the entire weight of the body.

The body, when performing any exercises, is in a tight and upright position, except when its bend, tilt or turn is required. In the movements of the hands on postures and positions softness is developed. Basically setting the hands and fixing the correct form occur in the second position. Various turns and inclinations of the head are present in all movements of the exercise, beginning with the very first exercise at the stick.
