Evgeny Evstigneev: Filmography, Best Actors

Evstigneev, whose filmography numbered more than a hundred paintings, was considered one of the leading Soviet actors. On the films with the participation of Yevgeny Alexandrovich, many generations grew up, because he started his creative activity back in 1957. How did the fate of the famous artist come about and what pictures of his filmography became classics of Russian cinema?

early years

Yevgeny Yevstigneyev had difficult youthful years. He was born in 1926 in the family of a metallurgist and a miller.

The father died when the boy was only three. When the Great Patriotic War broke out, Evstigneev just graduated from the seven-year school. He only entered the technical school, as his stepfather died. From now on, it was necessary to somehow provide for himself and his mother, so the young man dropped his studies and got a job as a fitter at the plant.

In parallel, Eugene was carried away by music. A couple of years later, the future actor turned into a multi-instrumentalist: he played drums, piano, forks. At one of the performances of the jazz orchestra Evstigneeva noticed the director of the Gorky Theater School and advised him to become a dramatic actor. At the age of 25, the actor graduated from the school, and at 28 he again went to study, but already to the Moscow Art Theater school to get distribution to the Moscow theater. As a result, Evstigneev entered the permanent troupe of the Sovremennik Theater.

Evgeny Evstigneev: films, filmography. "Watch out for the car"

For the first time on Soviet screens, Eugene Alexandrovich appeared when he turned 31: he was entrusted with the role of Peterson in the drama of Vladimir Petrov "Duel." It was 10 years before the actor won the right to play in the best films with the best actors. A sharp rise is associated primarily with the participation of Evstigneev in the picture of Eldar Ryazanov "Beware of the car."

This film is distinguished by a unique cast of actors. The leading roles in the tape were performed by the leading Soviet artists - Innokenty Smoktunovsky ("The Queen of Spades") and Oleg Efremov ("Three poplars on Plyushchikha"). Also in the picture were involved Olga Aroseva ("Old Robbers"), Andrei Mironov ("12 chairs"), Anatoly Papanov ("Diamond Arm"). Eugene Evstigneev got the role of the director of the national theater, in which the main character played by Smoktunovsky.

The plot of the picture is dedicated to the Soviet "Robin Hood", which punishes bribe takers and speculators by stealing their cars.

Evstigneev: filmography. "Golden calf"

Sparkling works of Ilf and Petrov have long become a classic, and Ostap Bender is a popular favorite. In 1968, a wonderful screen version of one of the comic books appeared on the screens, the main character of which is the great combinator: it is a question of the "Golden Calf".

The role of Ostap Bender in the film of Mikhail Schweitzer was played by Sergei Yursky ("The meeting place can not be changed"). Also in the picture appeared Leonid Kuravlev ("Afonya"), Zinovy Gerdt ("Straw Hat") and Evgeny Evstigneev, who was entrusted with the role of the underground millionaire Alexander Koreiko.

The meaning of the picture is that this time the adventurer Bender decided to take away millions from an underground Soviet millionaire. This combination promised to be a win-win, because Koreiko, unfairly making his money, would not even turn to the police. However, having received the desired one million, Bender does not feel satisfaction. Moreover, when the Soviet border passes, he loses all his wealth and remains at the broken trough.

"Zigzag of luck"

Evstigneev, whose filmography is full of various comedies, in 1968, began work on another project by Eldar Ryazanov.

This time the director was shooting the film "Zigzag of Fortune", the speech in which was about the everyday life of employees of the provincial photo studio. The monotony of the days was disturbed by an atypical situation: photo artist Vladimir Oreshnikov suddenly won 10,000 rubles. Everything would be fine, but he only bought a loan on a loan for public money. A small "war" broke out between the staff of the "Sovremennik" shop, because it is not so easy to divide the funds won by Oreshnikov.

The main role in the painting was performed by Evgeny Leonov ("Gentlemen of Fortune"). In addition to him, Irina Skobtseva ("I walk around Moscow"), Valentina Talyzina ("The Old Robbers"), Gottlieb Roninson ("Twelve Chairs") were involved in the tape. Yevgeny Evstigneev played in the film by Ivan Kalachev, director of the motor depot.

"Seventeen Moments of Spring"

Evgeny Evstigneev, whose filmography by 1970 had more than forty paintings, knew how to choose worthy projects for participation. He was lucky to enter the cast of one of the best films of the Soviet Union, entitled "Seventeen Moments of Spring".

The picture was taken by Tatyana Lioznova in 1973. The feature of the tape was that it combined elements of a detective, a thriller and melodrama. Speech in the film was about the Soviet intelligence officer Stirlitz, who managed to penetrate into the highest political circles in Germany and obtained secret information for the Soviet authorities. The main role in this project went to Vyacheslav Tikhonov ("Young Guard"). In the frame were collected stars such as Oleg Tabakov (War and Peace), Vasily Lanovoy ("Officers"), Leonid Bronevoi ("Investigators lead the Connoisseurs"), Valentin Gaft ("Garage") and many others. Eugene Evstigneev Lioznova instructed the role of Professor Werner Pleisher.

"The Incredible Adventures of Italians in Russia"

Evstigneev Evgeny Alexandrovich was on the list of favorite actors of Eldar Ryazanov. Already by the 70th actor starred in three scenes of the great master of comedy.

In 1973, he again appeared on the set of his project: this time Ryazanov, together with the Italian director Franco Prosperi, shot the picture "The Incredible Adventures of Italians in Russia".

This tape can be called a masterpiece of entertaining cinema, at least, by the standards of the 70's. Sparky humor, a bit of buffoonery, beautiful and talented actors, full-scale shooting against the backdrop of beautiful landscapes and many, many tricks. That only there are races on cars and a scene of landing of the plane on the Moscow line. True, the trick with the plane was filmed at the aerodrome, exposing the scenery around, but nevertheless the spectacle turned out spectacular.

Yevgeny Evstigneev played in the film one of the seekers of the pre-revolutionary treasure, hidden in St. Petersburg. Evstigneev's character was of a bad temper, and he did not get up from a wheelchair because of his limp. But this did not prevent Yevgeny Alexandrovich's hero from chasing all Russia for treasures.

"About the Little Red Riding Hood"

In 1977, I tried myself in a new genre of Evstigneev: the filmography of the actor was replenished with the most real children's fairy tale.

The creator of the film "Adventures of Pinocchio" director Leonid Nechaev with the support of the studio "Belarusfilm" released in the late 70's a musical dedicated to the adventures of the Little Red Riding Hood.

The events shown in the film are, as it were, a continuation of the story that happened to the girl in the original fairy tale. The wolves decided to take revenge on Little Red Riding Hood for their relative, who was killed by a lumberjack. They tell the girl the false news that her grandmother is sick again. When Little Red Riding Hood goes to his grandmother, the wolves repeatedly try to put the child in a sack, but each time the girl gets out of the dangerous situation.

Yevgeny Evstigneev got the role of Astrologer in the project. And I even played a song of Astrologer myself. Along with him in the film, starred Rina Zelenaya, Rolan Bykov, Vladimir Basov, Galina Volchek and many other famous actors.

"For family reasons"

Yevgeny Evstigneev, whose filmography consists mainly of films that became classics of cinema, in 1977 agreed to appear in another good comedy.

It's about the film "For Family Circumstances", in which the main roles were played by such stars as Galina Polsky ("Vanity of vanities"), Evgeny Steblov ("I'm walking around Moscow"), Vladimir Basov ("The Princess of the Circus"), Rolan Bykov ("The Wedding of Balzaminov"), Anatoly Papanov ("Give a plaintive book") and many others.

Evgeni Evstigneev got the role of an infantile artist, who, despite his considerable age, continues to live with his mother. Soon he meets the heroine of Galina Polsky, and they decide to get married. But will not the artist's mother upset all the plans of an elderly couple?

"Meeting place can not be Changed"

Indeed, the cult Soviet film is considered a picture of Stanislav Govorukhin "The meeting place can not be changed." Evstigneev Evgeny Alexandrovich was also involved in it.

The filmography of the actor often included projects where he played crooks and rascals. This time the director saw in Evstigneev an ideal performer of the role of the swindler Ruchechnik.

The plot of the picture "The meeting place can not be changed" is devoted to the story of the capture of the dangerous gang "Black Cat". Captain MUR Zheglov and Senior Lieutenant Sharapov throughout the film are trying to expose the elusive bandits. The hero Evstigneev was not part of the "Black Cat", but was involved in another case, which was investigated in parallel by the brave Mourovians.

"We are from jazz"

Director Karen Shakhnazarov simply could not help but invite Evstigneev to appear in his film "We are from jazz". And in fact: the actor about five years of his life gave work to a jazz orchestra!

But, unfortunately, not the role of the musician was E. Evstigneev: the filmography of the actor was replenished with another musical film, and the multi-instrumentalist Evstigneev continued to play thieves and swindlers. In this picture, Shakhnazarov asked the artist to embody on the screens the image of a thief-in-law named Pope.

The picture was successful. According to the newsreel "The Soviet Screen", the project "We are from Jazz" was declared the best film of 1983. In addition to Evstigneev, Igor Sklyar ("Children of Monday"), Alexander Pankratov-Cherny ("Sibiriada"), Pyotr Shcherbakov ("Zastava Ilicha"),

Other projects

Actor Evstigneev, whose filmography by the end of the 80's was approaching the turn of a hundred films, was shot in many worthy films. For example, he embodied Bestuzhev's image in all the paintings of Svetlana Druzhinina devoted to the adventures of midshipmen.

The filmography of Yevstigneev Evgeny Alexandrovich also includes a remarkable painting "A Dog's Heart", based on the Bulgakov story. When the actor died (it happened in 1992), in his arsenal there were about 116 works of art.
