Wasps, along with flies and mosquitoes, can cause infection, including intestinal infection. In addition, after the bite of a wasp, an allergic reaction is possible, in some cases leading to death.

With the advent of May, scout wasps begin to search for suitable places, visiting first of all to the places where the nests were earlier. How to deal with annoying and dangerous insects?

Not all funds from wasps, offered to us in shops and markets, are effective and will give the expected results. In baits, for example, there is an attractant (attracting substance). Of course, "treated" with such a drug, wasps are killed. But the bait will fly insects not only from your site, but also from the adjacent.

If you are building a house or decided on a major overhaul, do not forget about preventive treatment: cover (blow out with foam) all depressions and crevices that could catch on wasps.

Be sure to remove all old nests, otherwise, after destroying one family of insects, you will be forced to fight in the near future with another, who took its place.

Very important is not only the sequence of actions (destruction of wasps, and then - the destruction of their nests), but also time. Do this only in the evening, when uninvited guests will fly for the night. In the daytime, the aspen nests are almost empty, so there is no point in processing them. Yes, and their removal in the absence of owners is fraught with consequences. Wasps are very vindictive, therefore, having found the destroyed shelter, they can make attacks on people.

What are the best remedies? As a rule, these are aerosols and microencapsulated. Fixed assets (OS):

1. "Troopsil" (Netherlands) - destroys the synanthropic insects, including the wasps. Quite powerful and fast, with a slight smell, quickly eroded, economical. Sold in the form of concentrate. The treatment solution is prepared from a liter of water and 35 ml of the preparation.

2. "Mosquito" - highly effective. Toxic. Recommended for processing non-residential premises on the street (open verandas, pipes, attics, cellars, sheds).

3. "GETT" means funds from wasps, in which the emphasis is put on microencapsulation. All insects are destroyed. Exceptional safety for people and animals. There is no smell. Long-term (up to a year) action. Efficiency is guaranteed on all surfaces.

The development of resistance (immunity) is minimal. The action of "GETT" is based on the transfer of microcapsules between individuals, so the destruction of the entire population (family) is guaranteed. The wasps die in a day.

There are other, "home" funds from wasps. Let's consider some of them:

1. Folk craftsmen thought of catching wasps in ordinary plastic bottles (a remedy for wasps at the dacha). Cut off the neck in the area of the "shoulders", turn the bottle and, pouring into it a sweet sour compote, insert the cut portion down with the neck.
2. Sprinkle windows, curtains and doors with vinegar. The effect, unfortunately, is short.
3. "Homemade bait" - is made from the remnants of a sweet melon: crusts are sprayed with insecticides ("Intavir", "Sherpa") and are laid out in the places where the wasps accumulate.
4. Filling of nests with boiling water.
5. Bonding with polyethylene. It is best to use a tight package, which is put on the nest, then pressed against the wall and glued with adhesive tape (fit stapler, buttons). After that the corners of the package are cut, the insecticide splashes inside and the hole closes again. After an hour the package can be removed (the wasps will die) and tear off the nest.
