Aspen nests are cause for concern
There are many species of wasps-insects of the order of the Hymenoptera, but only public ones pester the man. They are called so because they live "societies", large families.
Aspen nests are made of paper, which they make themselves. At first, the wasp plucked pieces of wood. Then he rubs them in his mouth, moistens his saliva, chews them, presses them. As a result, a lump is formed, from which a thin chip of already real paper is removed. A nest is built from it.
Paper aspen nests, although multilayered, but very fragile. But there is hardly anyone wishing to destroy them, since instantly an entire army of enraged insects flies out to defend their home. And from temperature fluctuations, the aspen nests are perfectly protected, which is necessary for the larvae.
During the entire summer season, only wasps are formed from the larvae. By the fall, young females and males appear. Before cooling off the old female, all working wasps and young males die. It remains to winter only a fertilized young female. In spring everything repeats itself.
It seems that public wasps are similar to each other, but in fact they have different colors. And they do dwellings in different places. If the aspen nests are found hanging on branches and attics, then they were made by wasps, if in the ground, then they were built by the German red or ordinary.
This task is not easy, since any manipulation with the housing of these insects is likely to be bitten. To destroy the hornets' nest, you must dress so as to close as much as possible all parts of the body. Use is necessary preparations, the odor of which the wasps do not perceive as aggressive, for example, "Master 250". This kind of means handles the entrance to the nest, and the wasps will deposit the microcapsules into the dwelling itself and die. This operation is best done in the dark, when all the insects will be in the nest.
