"Taurine." Instructions for use

Patients with cataracts are recommended one to two drops for three months, a day - four times. The repetition of the course of treatment with "Taurine" is recommended by the instruction, a month later.

As an adverse reaction with the use of the drug "Taurine", the instruction calls allergy.

The drug is suitable for three years. The opened vial should be used no more than thirty days.

The active substance of the drug is a biologically active component. This product was first isolated from bovine bile. Taurine is referred to as vitamin-like substances, and to sulfoamino acids.

In the human body, the synthesis of this component is carried out on the basis of cysteine and methionine - sulfur-containing amino acids. Unlike other similar components, which are processed, taurine in tissues continues to be in free form. Its high concentrations are noted in the heart muscle, spinal cord, brain, kidney, retina, skeletal muscles.

The formation of taurine is carried out in the body on the basis of the oxidation (enzymatic) cysteine and the subsequent transformation of the acid into hypothaurine. Among the main sources of the component are vitamin B6 and sulfur-containing amino acids. When penetrating the gastrointestinal tract, taurine breaks down into inorganic sulphides.

This component is actively involved in the synthesis of a large number of other amino acids, being an important element in the metabolic processes of sodium, magnesium, calcium, potassium. Taurine serves as a neurotransmitter in the brain (transmits nerve impulses). In connection with the fact that the component is a sulfoamino acid, under its influence the activity of cell membranes is restored, metabolic processes are improved.

When using taurine, care must be taken for people with duodenal ulcers and stomach ulcers. This is due to the ability of the substance to increase acidity. Elevated dosages of the component can cause diarrhea.

The component has a choleretic effect, due to the fact that it has a bond in the body with bile acids.

It should be noted that taurine is included in many energy drinks. This is due to his ability to improve energy processes. On average, one bank can contain between 400 and 1000 mg. The safety of taurine in these drinks remains unexplored and completely unproven. According to some scientists, an overdose component can not be. This is due to the fact that cells in the body simply can not take it more than it is supposed to (thus, the regulation in the transport system is arranged).

The component has no toxic properties. On the contrary, taurine can effectively eliminate the manifestations of poisoning by certain drugs and poisons.
