Ointment "Nikofleks" is a combined preparation that has vasodilator, analgesic, distracting, warming, anti-inflammatory and absorbable properties. At the heart of this remedy is irritation of the skin receptors and stimulation of reflex reactions (hyperthermia and hyperemia). The mechanism of action of such a drug as "Nikoflex" ointment is directly caused by the activation of the processes of formation and release of enkephalins and endorphins, by the coping of pain symptoms on the sites of inflammation. In addition, this vasodilator increases the permeability of blood vessels, improves blood circulation directly in the lesions, thereby increasing the so-called local microcirculation. With regard to the therapeutic effect of the drug "Nikofleks", it develops quite quickly and is noted for about one hour.
The contents of this vasodilator as the main ingredients include natural capsaicin, ethylene glycol salicylate and ethyl nicotinate. The presence of these substances and provides a pronounced anti-inflammatory, analgesic and absorbable effect. As additional elements, the "Nikoflex" ointment contains lavender oil, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, sodium lauryl sulfate, cetyl stearyloctanoate, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, white petrolatum, 96% ethanol, purified water and liquid paraffin.
If we talk about the area of application of this anesthetic drug, then most often it is used for a variety of diseases of the muscles and joints. For example, the "Nikoflex" ointment recommends the use for myalgia, spondylarthrosis, sprain, arthritis and arthrosis. Contusions, tendovaginitis and sciatica are also included in the list of indications for prescribing. In addition, you should use this tool for polyarthritis.
