Andrey Kivinov: biography and creativity

Since the times of Zheglov, Znamensky, Tomin and Kibrit in the Russian cinema, it was hardly possible to meet criminal investigation officers, whom the whole country knew and loved, but the heroes of this author could by popularity if not bypass predecessors, then become with them on one deserved level.

Engineer-shipbuilder

Kivinov Andrey Vladimirovich has passed a way from the operative authority to the major of militia. Although, as they say, nothing boded ... An ordinary Petersburg guy, passionate about sports, rock music and reading adventures. After leaving school in his native Leningrad, Andrei Vladimirovich continued his studies first in the shipbuilding technical school, and then in the shipbuilding institute, working in parallel at the scientific research institute specializing in shipbuilding technology.

But the work of the engineer was not attracted by special prospects, and Andrei Kivinov, in search of romance, decided to change his line of business and went to work for the police as a simple operative. According to Andrei Vladimirovich, not only a passion for adventure, but a higher salary were decisive in choosing. In addition to adventure, he had a passion for literature since childhood. He even tried to enter the Literary Department of the Pedagogical Institute.

During his time in the police Kivinov was awarded the medal "For Excellent Service and Law Enforcement".

Creation

Later, when Andrei Kivinov starts to work in the police and receives his first title, he will start writing stories and stories on the topics of militia everyday life. Kivinov's works are based on real events, and the characters have their prototypes. Andrew copied the images of the main characters from his colleagues, so the characters look very realistic. And Dukalis, and Volkov, and Major Solovets are real people who worked in the usual ROVD. Moreover, the prototype of Solovets, Oleg Dudintsev, also became a co-author of Andrei Vladimirovich when writing "Slaughter Force". The hero of Kazantsev was decommissioned immediately from two colleagues of Andrey Kivinov, and only Larin is a collective image, maybe, therefore, he is a little different from the other operas.

The first work, which in the early 90's wrote Andrew Kivinov - "A nightmare on the street Stachek." Initially, this work should not have been made public, but friends and colleagues Andrew liked the story so much that it was decided to publish it. Since then, more than 170 books have been published from the pen of the author, many of them are collected in cycles and series.

In assortment

To date, Andrei Kivinov, whose books have a huge success among Russian-speaking readers around the world, is a member of the Writers' Union of St. Petersburg and continues to work in the Agency for Journalistic Investigations, teaches at a police school and is a consultant to the magazine "Beyond the Law." The author continues his creative path, replenishing the bookseller's shelves with his works, sometimes co-authored with Sergei Mayorov. In addition to traditional printed publications, one can find audiobooks by Andrei Vladimirovich Kivinov. On the motives of his novels, they continue to shoot not only serials, but full-length films. One of the last to fall in love with the audience was the "Comedy of a strict regime" with the participation of many stars of Russian cinema.

Famous "Streets"

Andrei Kivinov "Streets of Broken Lanterns" created as a series of stories, but it turned out that it was this series that became the most popular. It is on the motives of these novels that the director Andrei Ryazantsev shot a multi-part film of the same name. In the future, among the directors who worked on the first series of the film, were Vladimir Bortko and Alexander Rogozhkin.

"The Nightmare on Stachek Street" became the first series of the cycle. Between 1997 and 2014, 15 seasons of the film were released. The series received more than one TEFI award as the best Russian TV series. The names, directors, acting characters, filming style and attitude of the viewer to the series changed.

The most successful, according to viewers, were the first seasons of the movie "Cops". In the first series, emphasis was placed on honesty and incorruptibility. The simplicity of the entourage and the grayness of the everyday life of the 90s immerse an adult audience in nostalgic memories, and the younger generation is given an opportunity to get acquainted with the history of the country in one of its difficult stages of development. We plunged not only in the harsh everyday life of criminal investigation, the author allowed us to look deeper into each character, to find out what he lives and what he thinks. They wear shabby jeans and ski hats, sometimes they tell trivial anecdotes, they are tired and irritated, but they are so close and understandable.

Not a day without a joke

Andrei Kivinov gave his characters a good sense of humor, without which it is rather difficult to work in such divisions. Remembering his work in the department, the writer says that it is impossible to take work seriously. You begin to empathize with the victims, take things too much to heart, many do not stand up and leave. Humor in this case is a protective reaction to stress. Actors were able to perfectly convey the overall tone of the works, they look so natural in their role, and long after the release of the last season with the participation of Casanova, Larin and Dukalis were associated with the characters from the series. Many, by the way, it was here that they revealed their acting talent and became known to the general public.

Revival

The series "The Streets of Broken Lights", in fact, was the starting point of 90s cinema. It was after the release of the first series of the film that the hero operatives began to appear one by one, but none of them by their popularity can compare to either Captain Larin or Tolya Dukalis. Before, the audience had already watched the life of the operatives, but the series "The Consequence of the Know-how" had sunk into the distant past, and the niche remained unoccupied.

New does not mean the best

The new releases of the movie "Streets of Broken Lights" differ significantly from what was at first both the cast and the quality of the shooting, although the new seasons did not turn out to be so popular, the characters do not evoke the former emotions, and most reviews of the film, Unfortunately, negative. Spectators note that the image of the "ment" of the 90s disappeared from the screen, in its place came the heroes, devoid of that sincerity and immediacy, which attracted every night to the screens of more than one million fans of detectives.

Not only the films made on the stories of Andrei Vladimirovich, are of great interest. His books are sold at great speed. Andrei Kivinov is one of the most widely read authors of the modern detective genre. Despite the popularity of books among readers, he is not a rich man at all. According to him, there is no business in it. The main thing is that the readers and spectators are satisfied.
