If you like sweets, use semisweet. Dessert wines for mulled wine should not be used: they are too strong and sweet for this drink. For mulled wine you can use both red wine and white. The classic mulled wine recipe

Then pour into it a decoction of spices and a spoonful of sugar. All this must be warmed up to a hot state, but in no case to boil. Mulled wine is ready for use!

Mulled wine recipe with orange

To make mulled wine with orange you will need red port wine, orange liqueur, cinnamon, lemon and nutmeg.

One of the most unusual recipes of mulled wine is mulled wine with pepper and honey. In order to cook it, you will need a bottle of red wine (necessarily semisweet), 1 orange, 1 tsp. Honey and spices: a pinch of cinnamon, 5-6 pcs. Cloves, 3-4 peas of whole black pepper and even a little salt.

In the warmed wine you need to add all the listed ingredients, cut the orange into circles and put one in each glass. Drink still hot. This mulled wine has a very unusual taste, it helps to warm up quickly and cheer up.

Recipe mulled wine with white wine

Prepare 1 bottle of white dry wine, 100 grams of sugar, 125 ml of water, 1 lemon or orange, as well as traditional cloves and cinnamon.

In a saucepan, a pair of clove inflorescences, a little cinnamon, half a cup of water, as well as a lemon or an orange, cut into small pieces. Boil this mixture, then strain it and mix it with the wine. Before drinking, you need to warm up the wine and drink it hot.
