European ski resorts - winter fairy tale for a small price

Winter vacation is not bad at all. Of course, after tedious work and not too favorable ecological conditions of large cities, I'd rather, soak up the sun and bathe in the azure waves of the Mediterranean, Black or Red seas. I want to run away from human fuss and the so-called benefits of civilization. However, one should only visit ski resorts - at least once, and the opinion of a qualitative and full-fledged vacation will immediately change.

Relax with health benefits? Easily

Ski tours are an excellent option for active recreation, the main advantage of which are physical activity on fresh and clean mountain air, which improves health and moods as well as possible. Many people who leave reviews about ski resorts of different countries, note the fact that winter holidays often come out much more useful and more pleasant than summer holidays.

Of course, vacation in the snowy resorts of Europe can seriously damage the budget - after all, you go there not only to look at the slopes, but to try to get on skis or to sharpen the skill already gained, to take a tour of the cable car or to sit in a cozy cafe waiting for snowfall. All these activities require money investments - some more, and some less. The way out of this situation is simple: you need to go to such ski resorts, which are considered to be budgetary, but give a lot of positive emotions and fabulous impressions.

The ideal place for active winter holidays in terms of a combination of price and quality can be considered two areas: the resorts of Eastern Europe and Western European resorts . East European have some advantage - their rather low status and lack of prestige ensures that the influx of tourists will not be even in the height of the season. In addition, in Romania, Slovenia or the Czech Republic, guests are offered very convenient cheap hotels, restaurants and excursions. For some reason, it is considered that this part of Europe can not offer tourists a high level of service - but this should not be a problem for those who come here for adrenaline, healthy rest and new sensations.

Western ski resorts guarantee the availability of well-equipped trails, expensive hotels, high-class restaurants and the highest level of service. Their advantage is security and stability, and slightly more affordable prices can be found on not too popular holiday villages in the foothills of the Pyrenees or the Alps.

To give preference to something one

So, the most interesting budget options are:

- French ski resorts: Brides-les-Bains, Cotret and Saint-Gervais. These are wonderful places for recreation, in which there are quality trails for skiing and snowboarding, rich nightlife, excellent hotels and hotels, and St. Gervais is also an opportunity for an amazing spa holiday;

- towns in Andorra: Soldo and Pas de la Casa are very small, hidden from prying eyes, but having the best ski area in the western part of Europe, the newest equipment and a new system of lifts. And most importantly their dignity is the presence of a small number of other tourists;

- Slovene resort Bohinj is a paradise where skiing tracks are located not far from the picturesque local lake, and the town of Vogel, located so high in the mountains that it has to be reached only by a lift;

- a lot of accessible and interesting resort areas in the High and Low Slovak Tatras: Jasna and Poprad, very modern by the standards of Eastern Europe, interconnected by a complex system of cable cars and ski lifts;

- a gothic and memorable town of Poiana Brasov, located in Romania. Here the rest will not be complete if the guests do not visit the famous Transylvania, the home of the famous vampire Count Dracula.
