Alcohol "Royal" - the main guest at the festive table of the 90's

If you recall the ordinary festive feast of the late 80's, then quite often it was monotonous, both for a set of dishes and delicacies, and for assortment of alcoholic components.

You should not even strain your memory to remember how, in those days, together with the traditional "Soviet" champagne
An honorary place on the table was occupied by some original foreign half-litrovka. And it is unprincipled that there could be poured - rum "Havana club", gorilka "Smirnoff" or sweet liqueur "Amaretto". Foreign - means, already respectable and fashionable. It was later, in the 90s, shops and roadside stalls added to their assortment with various "Rasputin", "DaniloFF", "GorbachefFami", "PetroFymy" and similar FF-mi. And also there was an indispensable alcohol "Royal", lemon or melon "Stopka" and many more alcoholic and delicious.

Thus, already in the beginning of the 90s, exotic fruits and vegetables, as well as unusual alcoholic beverages, were sold in Russian stores. Undoubtedly, one of those products was the alcohol "Royal" - an unusual "thing" for a Russian person, because for a long time many people got regular medical alcohol through familiar doctors or through workers of distilleries, the technological processes on which were associated with the use of ethanol .

And suddenly in our country came the shocking times when it was completely free to buy alcohol "Royal", which everyone could dilute in the right proportion to him with ordinary water and drink for fun until he gets bored.

This simple method could easily get from one liter bottle of 96% alcohol "Royal" to 5 liters of almost 40-degree home-made vodka.

With the advent of such an opportunity, the imagination of the Russian people faded with the recipes of the fuel as soon as it could. Advanced "gourmets" made long-lasting berry tinctures. To do this, it was necessary only to buy the popular "Royal" alcohol and pour it into a 3-liter jar, and add various berries for color and taste: raspberries, aronia or red and black currants. Six months later, it was possible to taste hand-made liqueur, which was much tastier than purchased.

The birthplace of flaming water was either Belgium or Holland. There were guesses that the alcohol "Royal" produced Poland. The last version seems very unlikely, as the Polish people themselves stocked up this drink through Russian shuttles. At that time, the cost of alcohol "Royal" was about 40 thousand Polish zł.

Remembering the past times, when the import of alcohol became a paradise for the Russian people, modern analysts regard it as an attempt at genocide against Russia.

Now that alcohol can be seen on a free sale, most of it is still used only for medical purposes and does not use it for alcohol production. However, recipes for infusions are still kept at home by every Russian person.

The main thing is to remember that, no matter how attracted to alcohol drinks, the Ministry of Health warns that the use of alcoholic products is harmful to health.
