Curved profile: manufacturing features and application

A curved profile is a metal product that has a certain shape. The material is produced using special technological devices. There are a huge number of such profiles: corners, channels and other elements. All of them are used in construction.

In production, such materials are used for the bent profile: brass, copper, aluminum, bronze, steel, zinc. In principle, such elements do not require additional processing. After manufacturing, the product can be used almost immediately. To produce such a material, two methods are used: piece and continuous profiling. In the first case, the raw material is first cut into specific pieces, and then processed on the machine. The second option involves doing the actions in reverse order.

The methods by which the bent profile is manufactured, allow to reduce the cost of production and save metal. At the same time, the quality of the elements remains high, and the percentage of rejects is significantly reduced. The equipment used to make this material has an acceptable cost, especially since it can be manufactured independently. The machines allow you to make very fine adjustments, thanks to which the profile is obtained in the required size and shape. Since the metal is minimally processed and almost undamaged, it remains resistant to rust and corrosion.

The manufacture of such material as the bent profile has its advantages:

- it is possible to produce lengthy elements;

- the blank cover does not matter;

- high performance;

- possibility of combining the bending process with welding, punching holes.

Practical application of the profile to date is beneficial and economically justified. In particular, the material finds its application in low-rise construction: to create the frame of the building. At the same time, the structure has the required size, is very strong and stable. In addition, the structures are protected from the influence of temperature fluctuations, biological processes.

The bent profile is effectively used for the production of ventilated facades, the construction of attic floors. Thanks to this material, it is possible to significantly reduce the weight of the structure and its pressure on the foundation. In addition, the profile is very affordable: the cost of the elements is quite low, transportation costs are reduced, installation is quick and easy.

The most used elements of the profile are the channels and corners. The first are used in the construction of any building, since they are capable of strengthening the structure. For example, the material presented can be used in the construction of a garage for the construction of a gate box or as a supporting beam.

Corners are often used to create fences, wickets and other structures. Naturally, there are other types of curved profile that are widely used in all spheres of human activity.
