Curd casserole, as in the garden - food from a distant childhood

Cottage cheese is a very valuable sour-milk product. It is necessary for both children and adults. The composition of cottage cheese includes a lot of useful substances, which make it simply an indispensable product already at the first stages of a person's life. While still in the womb, the child acutely feels the need for this ideal product. A delicate sour-milk product of white color contains a huge amount of protein, various vitamins, iron and calcium. All these substances are necessary for the normal development of the child. Perhaps, therefore, it is the cottage cheese that is necessarily included in the diet of pregnant women, nursing mothers and toddlers in kindergartens.

Cottage cheese does not have a special flavor and is rather unflattering, so it is not used in its pure form in children's preschool establishments, but as the main ingredient for preparing various dishes. All of us since childhood are familiar curvy cheese cakes or a tender casserole. All this - dishes from cottage cheese, cooked according to certain recipes. Take, for example, a casserole. It seems to be nothing complicated, but at home it turns out for everyone in its own way. A child for some reason asks to do exactly as in his own kindergarten. Curd casserole, as in the garden, usually turns tender, but not greasy, moderately sweet, not crumbly, but also not like a pie. Only such a dish can please children. You can make it at home, but you must definitely adhere to the formula and technology of preparation.

To get a curd casserole, as in the garden, you need the following set of products:

For 0.5 kg of cottage cheese, take 2 eggs, 100 grams of sugar and semolina, 50 grams of whole milk and butter, a little (1 sachet) of vanillin, a small piece of butter (for the lubrication of the mold) and 2 more pincers Sprinkling of the mold).

Products are better measured on scales, so as not to accidentally break the composition. The casserole is prepared simply:

  1. To begin with, the cottage cheese needs to be wiped through a sieve or kneaded with a fork so that the grains become smaller.
  2. Then add to it eggs, sugar and vanillin. The products must be mixed well.
  3. In the mixture, pour the milk, fall asleep ladle and again mix everything to a homogeneous mass. Prepared "dough" set aside for about 40 minutes, so that semolina can swell. Only in this case it will turn out cottage cheese casserole, as in a garden. At this time, the oven is heated to 200 degrees.
  4. In the prepared form, oiled and lightly sprinkled with a manga, pour out the swollen mixture. The form is put in the oven for 30 minutes. In order not to be mistaken, readiness is better to be controlled visually. As soon as the casserole is covered with a soft ruddy crust, it can be extracted, cut into pieces and served to the table.

If you clearly follow the recipe described, you will get the curd casserole, as in the kindergarten.

It should be noted that there are a lot of recipes for casserole. If desired, instead of butter in the mixture you can use sour cream, and lovers of sweet can add raisins or even cocoa.

True, with these supplements the casserole becomes more caloric, but everyone makes a dish to their taste, and there can not be a single opinion on this score. Any housewife has her own recipe in hand and can advise how to bake a curd casserole. Some, for example, immediately fill the raisins in the curd mixture and put in the oven for baking. And others do otherwise: bring the mass in the oven to half-ready. Then remove it from the mold, cut it arbitrarily into parts. Then these parts are placed in another form, pouring them with prepared raisins. The surface of the finished "pyramid" is smeared with butter and the mass is again sent to the oven for final baking. The oil ensures the formation of a gentle crust, and the raisins do not dry out and do not burn.

Casserole can be made not only from cottage cheese. There is a good recipe called "Cheese casserole". It is prepared fairly quickly, and the products need the simplest ones.

For such a casserole you will need: for a glass of grated cheese - ½ cup of milk, 3 eggs, a little butter (to grease the form), ground black pepper and salt (for sprinkling).

The dish is prepared in two stages:

  1. We measure one glass of grated cheese.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the mixer with milk, cheese and eggs. If there is no mixer, then you can use an ordinary fork.
  3. Now you need to prepare a baking dish. To do this, lubricate it with oil, and then sprinkle with pepper and salt. Instead of salt and pepper, you can use ordinary mustard powder - as you like.
  4. The cheese mixture is poured into a mold, which we put in a container with hot water. The mold should be half in the water. We send this design to the oven for 35 minutes.

The dish turns out amazing. You are guaranteed a taste of pleasure and lots of fun. However, because of the use of sharp seasonings, it is best not to give it to children.
