Cottage cheese envelopes with sugar: a recipe for dessert

Cottage cheese is a universal product. It can be used in the preparation of sweets, namely various kinds of baking, as a filling for cakes or in the usual form, before it adding a little sugar or jam to taste. Recipe # 1: basic

Initially, we will consider how to prepare the simplest way of curd slices with sugar. Recipe # 1 provides for the use of the following products:

  • Cottage cheese (with preference given to products with a fat content of about 5-9%) - 400 g.
  • Butter - enough will be 200 g.
  • Sugar - about 150 grams for dough, for filling - to taste.
  • Baking powder - no more than 2 tsp.
  • Flour - about 300-350 g.

Now that you have all the necessary products, you should proceed directly to preparing the envelopes. First you should grind butter and sugar in a separate bowl. Then in the resulting mass should be added and cottage cheese. All ingredients must be mixed thoroughly. Then, in turn, the baking powder is first added, and only then the flour is added in small portions to the remaining products, previously sieved. The resulting batter should be left in the cold for half an hour. Then roll it out, but not very thin (the thickness should be about 3-5 mm). Next, the layer should be cut into squares, the sides of which are 8 cm. The sugar is added to the center of each piece to taste.

Now it's up to the small thing - we need to make out of the boxes of envelopes. For this, the corners of the pieces should be connected in the center. Now envelopes should be laid out on a baking sheet, pre-covered with special baking paper, and left in the oven for about 25 minutes. That's ready cottage cheese envelopes with sugar. Recipe # 2: another form

You can try to prepare other cottage cheese envelopes with sugar. The recipe will be similar to the previous one, the basic one, but there will be some special features. The list of required products is as follows:

  • Cottage cheese (choose a product of medium fat content) - about 500 g.
  • Margarine - no more than 250 g.
  • 2 cups of flour.
  • Sugar - about 3-4 st. L.
  • Baking Powder - 1 tsp.

Let's start with margarine. It should be rubbed on a large grater and left for a short while in the warmth. While the margarine softens, we combine the flour with the baking powder and add to it the crushed curd cheese. Now you can combine the resulting mass with margarine. You need to knead the dough until it stops being sticky. Now that it was even more elastic when cooking, leave it for an hour in the cold. After this time, the dough should be rolled out and squeezed out of the circles, while quite voluminous. In the center of each piece you can put sugar at will.

Now we need to make envelopes using the new method. To do this, the circles are folded half-way, and their semicircular edge is fingered. It remains only to send the envelopes in the oven for 20 minutes, before coating them with yolk for shine.

Recipe # 3: Alternative

You can make and in another way cheese cakes with sugar. The recipe can be used to choose any of the above. Roll the dough into a large circle. Then it is cut into 8 equal parts, and each of these pieces is slightly incised from the narrow in the wide edge 3 more times. On the untouched part of the pieces laid sugar to taste.
