Bashkir theater of opera and ballet: description, repertoire, history and reviews

The Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater, whose history of formation is described in this article, began its creative career in the difficult prewar years. Today it is the pride of Ufa. History of the theater

The Bashkir Theater of Opera and Ballet (Ufa) played its first performance in 1938. The troupe included graduates of the Moscow Conservatory and Leningrad Choreography School.

During the Second World War, Kiev's opera house was evacuated to the city. Bashkir troupe fruitfully cooperated with Ukrainian colleagues. Artists of Kiev shared their experience with young Bashkir soloists.

In the 1950's. The Bashkir theater of opera and ballet brightly manifested itself as a mature creative team. As a result, almost 7 artists of the troupe received government awards and honorary titles.

For more than 20 years, the theater has been conducting two international-level festivals annually. "Shalyapin evenings in Ufa" were born in 1991. It is a festival of opera soloists. In the late nineties in Moscow the days of the Bashkir culture passed. The theater presented to residents and guests of the capital several of its performances: "On the night of the lunar eclipse", "Crane song" and "Kakhym-tur". The last of which became a laureate of the Golden Mask. The operas "The Magic Flute" by WA Mozart and the "Masquerade Ball" by G. Verdi were nominated for the main theatrical award of the country in several positions at once.

Leading soloists of the Ufa opera often become members of delegations of masters of arts of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Russian Federation. They travel abroad for presentations, conferences, gala concerts.

The theater conducts an active tour activity. The artists have already visited Holland, Mexico, USA, Egypt, Italy, Belgium, France, China, Turkey, Thailand, Brazil, Portugal and other countries. In 2008, the troupe performed in South Korea. The tour was so successful that the team was awarded a high award. The actors were given a copy of the Crown of the First Emperor of Korea. In our country the theater was awarded with prizes "1000 best organizations of Russia-2009" and "National treasure of Russia-2010".

A lot of public resonance in the republic and in the Russian Federation was caused by several recent premier troupes. These are operas: La marionette, "Madame Butterfly", "Naki", "Prometheus" and "Prince Igor". These performances are still in the repertoire of the theater today.

In 2009, the theater had a second stage - Small Hall. There are chamber performances, as well as concerts. Recently, several premieres took place on this stage. These are: ballets "Nonclassical Divertissement" and "Seven Beauties", operas "Walpurgis Night" and "Love Drink", musical comedy "Sobuchkitsa" and children's musical "Birthday of the Cat Leopold".

Today's repertoire includes the best works of Russian and foreign classics. The main principle of the Ufa opera is a careful attitude to the traditions of the past and constant professional improvement. It is in this and in talented cadres that the theater sees a pledge of its success.

Museums

The Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater offers viewers to visit two of their museums. One of them is dedicated to his history. It was opened in 1993. Among the exhibits of the museum are costumes for productions, awards and diplomas of the troupe, photos of performances, props, posters and programs, sketches of decorations, as well as personal belongings belonging to famous artists of the Bashkir theater. One of the stands is dedicated to the great singer Fyodor Shalyapin, who started his career here.

The second museum is called "Rudolf Nuriev." He is dedicated to the life and work of the legendary dancer. The exhibition presents more than a hundred subjects related to the life of a genius.

Director

Since 2011, the Bashkir Theater of Opera and Ballet has been working under the guidance of Director IR Almukhametov. Ilmar Razinovich is a graduate of the acting faculty of the Institute of Arts in Ufa. In 2004 he received a specialty as a theater director at the Academy of Retraining of Art and Culture Workers. And in 2013 he was trained in management.

Ilmar Razinovich is not only an actor, director and director, but also a playwright. He wrote a number of plays for the puppet theater. I. Almuhametov is the organizer of several festivals, as well as a teacher of the Ufa Academy of Arts.
