Even the foundation for the garage requires careful calculation before starting construction work. Depending on what materials will be used to build the walls, the foundation for the garage can be columnar or tape. The first option is suitable, if the construction will be built of wood or metal sheets, since in this scenario the total mass of the structure will be small. However, brick and reinforced concrete walls will require an impressive foundation, capable of withstanding high loads.

To fill the tape foundation for the garage, first of all you should dig a trench around the perimeter. Its width will be affected by the thickness of the alleged wall, which should be less than about thirty percent. Otherwise, it is unlikely that the construction will be sustainable. To this width, it is also necessary to add the thickness of the formwork, if used in the construction process. The depth of the trench is determined by the level of ground freezing, but in fact in many regions of the country the distance from 80 to 100 cm is considered optimal. If you are building independently, the depth of soil freezing can be asked in any design and construction institution.

The bottom of the trench under the foundation for the garage is covered with a fifty-centimeter layer of sand, and this action is performed in two stages. First, a formation of 25 cm is formed and compacted with water, after which the process is repeated. Thus, it turns out quite dense sand cushion, affecting the stability of the entire structure. Then you can proceed to install the formwork.

Metal rods that act as binding elements are laid down. Their ends are superimposed on each other about twenty centimeters. Add stiffness will help twisting the wire. After the reinforcement is laid, it is possible to start pouring the trench with concrete. For the additional connection of walls to the base, the use of meter rods is permissible, but without them the structure is completely reliable.

When the solidification of concrete begins, it can be put on a roofing material or a layer of sawdust. If during the pouring there is a strong heat, then it is mandatory to water the solution with water, in order to some extent reduce the rate of setting. Then in the process of operation it is quite possible to avoid unnecessary problems with the foundation. Full hardening of concrete lasts a long time, so the construction of walls and garage finish can only be done after a couple of months.
