All about syrniki: calorie and benefit

When we hear the word "syrniki", at the first moment images and associations connected with cheese appear in our heads. But in fact, we are talking about wonderful delicious flat cakes, cooked on the basis of cottage cheese.

Their taste and usefulness can be said for a long time. But lovers of cheese cakes know that it is only necessary to eat a few cheese cakes for breakfast, as we get a good charge of energy for our body, after which it can work without interruptions right up until lunchtime. And then the question arises as to what is the energy value of this dish.

Let's take a closer look at the products included in the syrniki. Caloric content of each of them individually is: cottage cheese (18% fat content) - 236 kcal, flour - 334 kcal, sugar - 399 kcal, margarine (butter) - 743 kcal, chicken egg - 157 kcal. The energy of these products is mixed, and in the end we get a morning dessert with a calorie content of 300.2 kcal, of course, provided that you eat them only 100 grams, and they will be seasoned with a dessert spoon of sour cream.

Such indicators can force many to refuse this delicacy from cottage cheese, but do not rush to do it. After all, you can cook syrniki, the calorie content of which will be significantly reduced due to small changes in the recipe and method of preparation. So, for example, "raw" cottage cheese. They include: carrots, cucumber, radish and greens. All these vegetables are rubbed on a fine grater and mixed with cottage cheese, previously strained through a sieve. You can serve dietary curd cakes by forming asterisks, crescents, etc. from the obtained mass with the help of pastry forms, decorating them with greens.

Lovers of traditional cuisine can be recommended to prepare delicious cheese cakes in the oven. The composition of the products included in them will remain the same, but you will not have to use additional fats for roasting and sour cream as a sauce. This syrniki, the caloric content of which is significantly reduced. And if you add raisins, dried apricots, prunes, banana, apple, pear in the dough, then the taste of baked "curd buns" will acquire a special, exquisite shade that no one can resist.

Many of the main ingredients that make up the syrnikov, inventive housewives are replaced by similar ones. So, for example, instead of sugar, you can enter honey, of course, if you do not have allergies to it. Or replace flour with semolina. In this case, the cottage cheese pancakes will turn out to be more friable and crumbly. But do not forget about one thing - we are preparing cheese cakes, in which the main role is played by cottage cheese. It is he who forms the basis of this dish. Its amount should not be less than 500 g for 2-4 tablespoons of flour and 2 eggs.

But whichever cooking method you choose, whatever sauces they are seasoned with, remember that syrniki, the calorie content of which, though high, are very useful. Eating even a small portion of curd cheese cakes, you saturate your body with vitamins A, B1, B2, B5, B6, B9, B12, E, PP, H, minerals and a whole set of micro- and macro elements. Therefore, do not deny yourself such a pleasant dessert, even for the sake of a beautiful figure!
