Martini as an aperitif: how to eat it?

Immediately it is worth noting that vermouth is most often used as an aperitif - it activates the digestive tract, so it is best to drink it just before eating. In addition, many drinkers use it along with desserts.

True connoisseurs of vermouth argue that it should not be snacked - only so you can enjoy its unsurpassed taste and bouquet of aromas. Nevertheless, light snacks are acceptable. For example, dry varieties of vermouth are served along with olives on skewers. In addition, hard beverages are suitable for cheese, salted nuts, almonds.

Martini bianco is perfectly suited to different types of fish. But rosetto is better to drink under the dishes with chicken. Red sweet vermouth fits perfectly with ham. Many people prefer dry martini. What to eat this vermouth? The dishes from fish and seafood, as well as meat, are also suitable here.

There are some universal snacks, which are usually served with a drink. In particular, sandwiches with salmon or avocado paste will not spoil the taste of the vermouth. On the table you can also serve olives, olives and pieces of sour fruit (lemons, oranges, pineapples, some berries).
