Adam Kadmon (the original person) through the eyes of Kabbalists, Christians and materialists

The Jews regarded Adam Kadmon as a manifestation of some absolute particle of the human essence that existed in those remote times when the appearance of the man himself did not even have a thought.

Adam Kadmon or Adam of Heaven

From the point of view of Kaballa, Adam Kadmon (literal translation, which the Kabbalists consider to be correct, sounds like "Adam of Heaven" or "original man") is a kind of connecting link connecting the boundless God with a limited humanity.

Esoterics, doubting the human nature of such natural phenomena, consider Adam of Heaven to be one of the main symbols of all kinds of magic and alchemy.

In the Jewish work "Raziel" dated to the 10th century, Adam Kadmon acts as a creature possessing knowledge about the destiny of every human being and all the world's dialects. The wisdom and magical power of Adam Kadmon, parts of the body which the heavenly bodies served, made him the master of the world.

Two Adams

Theosophy regards heavenly Adam as natura naturans - the abstract world, while the name given to earthly Adam (meaning all mankind) is natura naturata (the material universe). The first of the two Adamas is the carrier of the divine essence, the second - the bearer of the mind of this entity.

The Holy Fathers categorically deny the notion of the dual nature of the first man and, under the two Adams, understand two independent individualities. There is indeed a mention of the existence of the two Adams in Scripture. Adam Kadmon, according to Christian texts, is none other than the God-Man Jesus Christ. The second Adam is the first earthly man, also a completely independent personality.
According to the Apostle Paul, every Christian is between the old and heavenly Adam, that is, between sins, death, apostasy and disobedience, characteristic of the fallen nature of man, and by grace, humility, immortality and eternal life brought by the New Man.

The New Man, the Lord Jesus Christ, Adam Kadmon - no matter how Christians call Jesus, if they remember their calling for which they appeared on Earth: ... "put off" the old Adam and "put on Jesus Christ" (Ephesians 4: 22).

Healthy selfishness as the engine of progress

The history of the development of human society is closely connected with a phenomenon that is considered to be natural - human egoism or ego, without which the struggle with the forces of nature for the sake of survival would be impossible.

Adam or the original person, who is considered to be the founder of Kabbalistic knowledge, possessed a zero level of selfishness (the Kabbalists have five ego levels). The egoism of the descendants of the father of mankind, on the contrary, increased and even reached the following levels. Thus, the selfish desire to "outstrip" Adam made the "Kabbalah" more informative, allowed his sons to penetrate deeper into the secrets of the universe and supplement the book of the father with new Kabbalistic knowledge.

What is Kabbalah

The purpose of Kabbalah is through meditation, reading of biblical verses or other meditative techniques (the choice of which is huge) to help a person better understand themselves and understand the reasons:

  • Its embodiment on the planet and in space;
  • Events taking place with him and his ancestors.

According to Kabbalah, mankind can reach the level of "man" (which means "Adam" in Hebrew) only when he is able to shed light on all the secrets of the universe and will understand:

  • What forces interact within it;
  • What his actions affect the whole of his surrounding nature (higher and lower);
  • To what effect can result in his or her actions.

Among the numerous methods of spiritual growth practiced by Kabbalists are mental imagery. By visualizing the flame of a candle, a flower, a flower field or any other corner of nature, a person, freed from the play of reason, acquires the ability to see things as they are. To the same result results in the continuous pronunciation of any biblical phrases.

Only after a secret knowledge is revealed to a person, Kabbalists consider, whether he wants it or not, will start to act correctly, without violating the laws of nature. The initial cycle of human comprehension of nature, in accordance with Kabbalah, was completed in the early 21st century.

Kabbalah through the eyes of materialists

From the scientific point of view, Kabbalah is a book that contains one of the ways to prove the fact of the existence of a single ruling force called "The Creator". This power is subject to all existing worlds, including absolutely all living beings in them.

Scientists deny the connection of Kabbalah with mysticism and religion. For them, this teaching is a kind of scientific work, created on the basis of repeated experiments, through which the so-called sixth sense can be created.

Kabbalah, in the eyes of some scientific men, reveals the state of a person who is in other dimensions: before the incarnation on Earth, to the formation of the five senses in his body, and also - after his departure from the physical world. Discovered all the secrets of the universe and reached the most perfect state will not be born again in this world.
