In 1977, the film "For Family Circumstances" was released in the USSR. Initially, the light saw the play "Possible options, or for family reasons." Later, Valentin Azernikov wrote a script, and director Alexei Korenev began shooting the film, collecting for this star cast of actors. This is a family comedy that reflects the life of three generations with the same problems. Filming took place in Moscow, the film was shot surprisingly quickly, in just 3 months. The censorship of Soviet times passed too surprisingly quickly. Just before the premiere, only one episode was cut out - with the broker and the Czech plumbers. In short, the commission liked the film "For Family Circumstances." Actors and everyone who took part in the work on it, were very happy about it. After the perestroika, the episode with V. Basov was returned to his place.

The plot is based on the uneasy relations of fathers and children. Igor (E. Steblov) and Lida (M. Dyuzheva) recently married. They live together with Lida's mother (G. Polish). The relationship between mother-in-law and son-in-law, to put it mildly, is strained. A young couple is born a child, they are in advance counting on the help of the grandmother, but not there it was.

Mom helps my daughter, but this leads to quarrels and reproaches. Galina Arkadyevna does not want to put up with the role of an exemplary grandmother and quit her job. It is decided to exchange a large apartment for two small ones. It is not easy to do this in a country with a socialist system, we have to turn to an underground broker (V. Basov) for help. Time passes, the search for alternatives is unsuccessful, and the situation in the family is heating up ...

In the film "For family reasons" actors, or rather their heroes, fall into both funny and difficult situations. Thanks to one of these comedy cases, severe Galina Arkadievna meets her second half Nicholas (E. Evstigneev). She married and moved to her husband and mother-in-law Isolde Tikhonovna (E. Khanaeva). As a daughter-in-law, she begins to understand how her son-in-law lived with her. Three generations will have to look for compromises and establish relationships, which sometimes come to a dead end.

Most of the jokes Eugene added to the film during the filming, in the script they were not. In his personal life, the actor was all tragic. His wife died in 2010, with her they lived soul to soul all their life. The only son went to the monastery. Steblev himself also became closer to God, in his house everywhere icons. In the cinema, almost does not act and does not give interviews.

Marina Dyuzheva agreed to the role of Lida for two reasons: she saw that the script is written as her, the second reason is the star cast of the actors. The film "For Family Circumstances" is her stellar work. In the 90's, the actress was no longer invited to the cinema, she started knitting. The second part of the film is shot on a concert principle. In small episodes, one after another appeared actors familiar to the whole country. I would like to note an episode with a speech therapist, brilliantly played by Rolan Bykov. Saveliy Kramarov dreamed of doing this role, but the director decided otherwise. Bykov played his scene without a single smile on his face, although it was funny that his partner in the episode, Evgeni Evstigneev, could not help laughing. Although the script had to be serious. The scene was shot for only 2 take.

The film looks so easy that you do not notice how time flies. Not one generation of spectators fell in love with this wonderful comedy. "For family reasons" - the film is timeless, and it will still be watched by our grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
