"Quartet And"

"Quartet I" is a popular comic theater created in 1993 by graduates of the variety faculty of GITIS. The first performance "This is just the stamps" the group has put on the student scene. It consisted of short jokes and stories. Later the actors created the project "Another Theater", in which celebrities play. Another member of the quartet is director Sergei Petreykov.

The team has four successful films, based on the performances. The first was the rather well-received "Election Day" (2007), a year later was followed by "Radio Day", which brought the band a lot of popularity, and in 2010 and 2011 the favorite diyology "What Men Talk About" and "What is on Yet they say men. " New Year's premiere in 2014 was the fifth film - "Faster than rabbits."

Actors and roles. Participants of the quartet

Leonid Baratz played in the film the role of Lyosha, one of the friends who woke up in an unfamiliar place. Leonid (most often friends and acquaintances for some reason call him Alexei), is an actor, one of the founders of Quartet I, a screenwriter, a director. Participated in writing the script for the movie "Faster than rabbits." Actors write scripts for performances and films on their own.

The second hero with a temporary amnesia is called Slava. Rostislav Hayit played it. The roles of the members of the quartet are often inextricably linked to their real personalities. The characters have the same names - Slava and Lyosha, and they are best friends as well as in life, they have known each other since early childhood. You can say that the actors play themselves, who are in an unusual situation. Rostislav Hayit is one of the founders of the comedy quartet, an actor and screenwriter. He also participated in writing the script for the film.

Camille Larin plays drunken inspector of the traffic police. During his studies Camille got acquainted with Lesha and Slava, became one of the founders of the quartet. Participated in writing the script for the film.

Alexander Demidov embodied the image of the transgender Genes (in theatrical version also administrator Gennady). A man, in whose appearance there is nothing feminine, looks in the dress of a transvestite really comical. Alexander Demidov is not only an actor, but also a screenwriter, producer and television figure. One of the founders of the quartet.

"Faster than rabbits". Actors and roles

Igor Zolotovitsky plays Garik, a business partner of Lyosha and Glory, who deceived them with money. Nonna Grishaeva performed the role of Garik's wife in a terrible court. Artem Smola played a classmate of Glory and Lyosha, a medalist who went to live in the United States 20 years ago.

Ekaterina Kuznetsova played a prostitute Lena (and a secretary in the theatrical version). Grigory Danziger got many roles - a man in a rabbit costume, a drug dealer, an inquisitor, a prosecutor (and an auditor in a theatrical version).

Cameo

In the works of Quartet I, stars often appear in the cameo, that is, in the role of themselves. The film "Faster than rabbits" was no exception.

Dmitry Dibrov and Valdis Pelsh appeared in the fantasies of the heroes in the role of leading their programs "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" and "Rally".

Vadim and Gleb Samoilov appeared on the pseudo-shootings of the clip of the band "Agatha Christie".

Reviews

The film received very conflicting reviews from both viewers and critics. Many expected a logical continuation of the film "What Men Talk About", and the phantasmagoric comedy of the absurd caused surprise and disappointment. The estimation of film search - 6,2, IMDb - 6,1.

Plot

The first frames of the film are shown by Garik's eyes. He talks on the phone, goes to the car and sits down, after which he loses consciousness. In the next scene, friends Slava and Lyosha come to their senses in a strange place. They obviously had a fun night, drank a lot and remember nothing. Initially, the heroes believe that they got to Garik's house, but soon he declares himself and it turns out that no one knows where they are and how they ended up.

Friends begin to explore the room and find themselves in a very strange place - a house consisting of many corridors and rooms, without windows and doors. In the rooms they find wreaths, a coffin and a memorial table.

In time, other perplexing characters begin to appear - Trans Gene (Madame Julie), whom the guys found at the club and invited to the limousine trip, the drunk inspector of the traffic police who got them on the road, Edik's classmate, who was met at the airport, and the prostitute Lena from the intimate Salon.

Together, the characters try to restore the events of the previous night and understand where they are. Versions arise one after another and gradually the characters come to the conclusion that they died together, having got into an accident. They begin to reflect on their loved ones, life, death and the afterlife.

The last person appears in the costume of a rabbit, flashed in the memories of the heroes. It turns out that this is a drug dealer who sold the company some substance, the side effect of which is memory loss, but everyone is in a strange house built by his father. At the end of the room a window and a door appear.

But at this point, the heroes begin to think about the inconsistencies of this version, and Garik realizes that he really died, and everything that happens serves as a memory of his life. All the other characters disappear and he, together with a drug dealer, a guide to the afterlife, is at the site of his death, the cause of which was a stroke.

Author's ending

The film ends with titles, against which the characters share their impressions of what happened, thoughts and emotions. The last word utters dead Garik.

Theatrical ending

The theatrical ending includes seven additional minutes, as if continuing the film. They show Garik's office. Slava and Lyosha read him a new script - everything that happened before turns out to be an idea for a new film. The end with the death of the hero categorically does not like Garik, as the premiere is to take place at the New Year and the movie with a bad end does not fit. Then Slava and Lyosha come up with another ending - the film ends with a scene in which the main characters in the office read Garik's script.

In the last frames you can see how Garik goes out and gets into the car. This scene completely repeats the beginning of the film.
