A bottle of champagne is an indispensable attribute of a holiday.

This method involves fermenting wine in special tanks. The sparkling drink is ready for use within a month.

Pour wine into bottles. The standard size of a bottle of champagne is 750 ml. The second type, with a capacity of 1.5 liters, is usually called "magnum." This capacity is considered better.

The most common is the standard bottle of champagne. But this does not exclude the possibility of using other volumes of containers for bottling a sparkling drink.

In the so-called quarters (187.5 or 200 ml) bottled champagne for airlines and nightly entertainment. For restaurants, a capacity of 375 ml is considered convenient. There is another, less common packaging for champagne wines. So, the biggest bottle of champagne is thirty-liter. It holds forty standard bottles of sparkling beverage.

The drink in the bottle is under pressure. This condition should be taken into account when uncorking wine. To reduce the pressure before consumption, the bottle of champagne is cooled. Do not shake it, otherwise after opening the cork will fly out of the bottle, and the contents will pour out a fountain. To prevent this effect, the carbonated drink is opened slowly. Hold the cork hand, gradually loosen the metal clamp. Having issued a quiet cotton, the cork will leave the bottle. Spill the champagne wine into tall wine glasses immediately after uncorking.

The main indicator that determines the taste of wine is the sugar content. Depending on the percentage of its content, champagne wines can be divided into dry, semi-dry, sweet and semisweet varieties. Each type of sparkling drink has its own characteristics. Dry wines are usually consumed before eating. A bottle of champagne semi-dry varieties is perfectly combined with meat and fish dishes. Semisweet and sweet wine perfectly complement the dessert.
