Why does it hurt to go to the toilet "big"?

Visiting a doctor, most people are embarrassed to ask him a question about why it is painful to go to the toilet "in large". It is worth noting that a huge number of patients face this problem, but because of its sensitivity, they are almost never spoken about aloud.

Emptying of the intestine should occur once every 1-3 days. If the trip to the toilet is postponed for a longer period, then this indicates that the person has problems with the gastrointestinal tract. To get rid of such a deviation should be immediately, as the stool retention for 4-5 days or more strongly poisons the body.

Often it hurts people to go to the toilet "for a long time" for one simple reason, which is called "constipation." This phenomenon is a difficult or impossible act of defecation, for which a small amount of stools is characteristic, as well as a sensation of not fully emptying the intestine. In this case, it is painful to go to the toilet "in large" because stool stones, penetrating the lower parts of the rectum, damage its walls, causing the corresponding unpleasant sensations. To get rid of them, it is recommended:

1. Make a cleansing enema using a warm or oily solution.

2. Take a mild laxative (if the enema is not possible).

3. To be surveyed at the gastroenterologist which will help or assist to find out the reason of constant constipations.

4. Use more fiber (for example, fresh greens, vegetables, fruits, cereals, etc.).

However, for the fact that it hurts to go to the toilet "in large", there can be a completely different reason. Most often it is faced with recently given birth to women. The fact is that during pregnancy, all members of the fair sex, internal organs are experiencing a tremendous burden. And the venous system is no exception. Thus, in the vessels there is a physiological stagnation of blood, which arises from the physical squeezing of the growing fetus. Strongest pressure is felt and the whole gastrointestinal tract, including the intestine. As a result, varicose veins of the lower parts of the rectum are formed, which clinically manifest themselves in the form of normal hemorrhoids.

During straining, the hemorrhoidal nodes are considerably strained and inflated. This fact determines that it is very painful for a person to walk "big" to the toilet. In particularly difficult situations, hemorrhoids can break, resulting in bleeding cracks, which greatly increase pain.

With inflammation of the hemorrhoids, you should immediately contact a proctologist who must prescribe anti-inflammatory and anesthetic ointments, as well as drugs that can strengthen the walls of blood vessels.

It is worth mentioning that often there are also such situations when it is painful for a person to go to the toilet "in a small way". In this case, we are talking about the genitourinary system, with the problems of which it is advisable to consult a urologist or gynecologist.

If you turn in time to specialists with such delicate problems, there is a high probability that the treatment will immediately bring a positive result. Otherwise, you can easily get on the surgical table.
