What can you draw on February 23: examples and their rationale

Defender of the Fatherland Day, celebrated annually on February 23, is a holiday of all men who defended their Motherland or are ready to stand with arms to defend it. In the post-Soviet space, it has a historical significance, serving as the day of honor of all the heroes who fought in the Great Patriotic War against the fascist invaders.
That is why the educational system in preschool and school educational institutions pays special attention to this day. Celebrating February 23 is designed to educate in the modern generation respect for the dedication and heroism of the soldiers who gave us all a peaceful sky over their heads.

Traditionally on this day, children make homemade gifts to veterans, military, and male relatives: crafts, stucco figures, drawings. As a rule, children of preschool age do not even think about what can be drawn on February 23, because the drawing is born of itself, from the heart. As practice shows, boys often draw a tank, and girls - a ship. And do not be surprised if the ship suddenly turns pink, or, for example, a tank, airplane and steamer will be there - the imagination of a child of preschool age is boundless.

But the older children draw a picture for Dad on February 23 a little more complicated. First, the child does this already knowingly. He is more informed and feels responsible for the image obtained as a result of his efforts. Therefore, adults should explain to the student what can be painted on February 23 and what value each component of the image will have. We will consider in the article elements inherent in the Holiday of the Defender of the Fatherland, and explain their meanings. And how to arrange them in the figure will be decided by the artist himself.

Military equipment

Airplane, tank or warship - that's what you can draw on February 23 as the main element. Indeed, without the military power of the Soviet Union, there would be no Great Victory, so all this will be appropriate.

Five-pointed star

A five-pointed star of red or yellow color is one of the symbols of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. This sign was present on the military uniform of the Soviet Army, on military equipment.

Under the scarlet banners with the yellow star, the soldiers rushed into battle. And this flag was hoisted over the Reichstag, when Berlin was taken by Soviet troops. Therefore, the five-pointed star in the picture indicates that we remember who is exactly responsible for the victory over the fascists. So it is desirable to draw a postcard by February 23 with this element. The star can be placed on military equipment, in the form of an order or an independent element.

St. George Ribbon

St. George's ribbon was covered with medals for medals "For the capture of Berlin", issued to soldiers of the Great Patriotic War. Therefore, it symbolizes a worship of the courage and courage of those who participated in the fighting. The ribbon consists of strips of two colors alternating with each other: black and orange.

The picture shows the St. George ribbon in many ways. Young children can draw a poster by February 23 or a postcard and frame them with St. George's ribbon so that it forms a rectangle. You can draw it horizontally, vertically, crosswise - in general, rectilinearly, so that it is not too difficult. High school students can decorate the tape in the form of a loop or in the form of waves developing in the wind - here it is already possible to fantasize for glory.

Carnations

Flowers are a universally recognized sign of love and respect. Therefore, the presence of colors in the figure devoted to February 23, is very desirable. As a rule, the drawings for the Defender of the Fatherland Day are adorned with scarlet carnations. Why? The fact is that for a long time this flower is considered a symbol of courage and striving for justice, the triumph of a just cause over evil. No matter how the child decided to draw a card by February 23: pencils, paints or markers - a bouquet of carnations on it will look great. Well, with the process of displaying a bouquet, even a preschooler can cope.

Of course, what can be drawn on February 23 is not exhausted by the four elements described by us. We are sure that your child is talented enough to bring his zest to the drawing. The main thing is that the image is located on a light background, perhaps, illuminated by the sun's rays. Indeed, it is thanks to the Great Victory that the peaceful sky is on our heads today!
