Valve assortment and its influence on the interaction in production

The importance of regulatory acts and classifications in industrial production is very high, especially acute at the junction of construction and metallurgy.

The assortment of reinforcement is a classification of the most used hot-rolled and cold-drawn steel rods or composite materials that are presented in a certain state by an assortment of a metallurgical or other production enterprise. The assortment is usually compiled according to the current normative legal and technical documentation, which determines the gradation and optimal characteristics of the rod sections. It is designed for rational selection of reinforcement for strength characteristics and waste minimization during construction and installation works. This is due to the fact that even carbon steel of ordinary quality St3, St5 - is quite expensive material, and its overspending is unacceptable.

Origin of the term and features of its use

The term "assortment of reinforcement" is distributed only in the professional environment of design engineers, technologists and other technical workers in the construction sector and industrial enterprises producing this constructive material. It is not widely used in wide use. The origin of the expression is due to the borrowing of the French word assortiment, which in the course of adaptation to the Russian language acquired specific features inherent only in phrases used in a professional environment.

Key features and differences between assortments

The structure of all sorts can be divided into size and profile, in the first variant the main sizes of one type of reinforcement with details of its features are indicated, while in the second variant the rods are classified according to their application (welded, thermo-strengthened reinforcement, etc.). Classical for the Russian Federation assortment of reinforcement (GOST 5781-82 its source) combines all the above characteristics and displays the required indicators in the most convenient form. In this state standard, the principles of the correspondence of steel reinforcement (wire and rod) to the requirements set for it are examined, and the permissible deviations of the material losses are determined. In comparison with the conditional ideal of the assortment, which would contain the entire numerical set of sections of different profiles and the length of the rods, only rationally chosen standard sizes are displayed in the GOST. They do not allow as an excessive load on structural elements due to excessive cross-sections and their own weight, and a significant excess of material consumption and provide only a minimum irreparable loss during the technological processes of construction. At the same time, various industrial enterprises can produce products according to their technical specifications, taking into account its purpose. First of all, this applies to core and wire products from composite materials and their corresponding application recommendations.

Features of the use of reinforcement and assortment in multi-storey construction

Despite the fact that the scope of steel reinforcement is not too extensive (in contrast to other products of metallurgy), it is practically indispensable in the construction industry of reinforced concrete monolithic structures. After all, this type of erection of high-rise and high-rise buildings implies the arrangement of a solid knitted or welded frame and its embedding. It perceives all critical values of the resulting stresses in the structures: tension, compression, bending, wind oscillations, and, if necessary, seismic influences, also prevents unacceptable crack opening in the reinforced concrete elements of the building. Such an important element of any structure is delivered to the construction site in bays or in bundles with rods (depending on the diameter of the reinforcement), each of which has its own marking. At the place of material unloading, it is received, the accompanying document for which are the invoices of the manufacturer or supplier, which indicates the range of reinforcement.

Importance of product regulation in the field of metallurgy and construction

Factory complexes for the production of reinforced concrete products, which produce structures with steel fittings using steaming and vibrating methods, sell their products to companies building prefabricated reinforced concrete structures. The functioning of manufacturers and contractors engaged in this field is impossible without a sufficient range of steel materials, and the basis for their production is the assortment of reinforcement. In the sphere of regulatory regulation, standardization and unification of such products, such technical documentation assumes the role of a unifying factor, thanks to which normal interaction between non-adjacent spheres of production is carried out.
