Valeria Novodvorskaya: the cause of death. From what and when did Valeria Novinvorskaya die?

It is difficult to assert that the death of Valeria Novodvorskaya, which was announced on July 12, significantly changed the alignment of political forces in the Russian Federation. Novodvorskaya died in Moscow City Hospital No. 13, surrounded by doctors. They could not save her, the inflammation went too far, and the age and lifestyle did not contribute to the healing of the wound, which under other circumstances might not have been dangerous. Nobody has made any assumptions about malicious elimination of a dangerous political opponent. For such versions, there were no grounds. The cause of the death of Valeria Novodvorskaya was announced immediately. It was the phlegmon of the foot.

Gentle and brave

Yes, she did not pretend to be a guiding star, she, apparently, was quite satisfied with the position she occupied, which guarantees the possibility of freely declaring one's own views with complete absence of any responsibility. However, the right to this had to be earned, won or suffered. Friends, including Khakamada, Borovoi, Nemtsov, Ryzhkov and other representatives of the Yeltsin era political elite, called her a romantic with a child's soul, an unconscious, infinitely tender and very thin person, without forgetting to dwell on bravery, which goes as far as recklessness. Other, less benevolent people, recalled her antics, full of shocking, often ridiculous and in a way ridiculous ridiculous. Novodvorskaya was a very contradictory personality. The cause of death, biography, political activity will be briefly described below. No ratings, only facts. And a few assumptions.

USSR of the late 60's

Moscow the second half of the sixties. Behind the half-century history of the Land of Soviets. In the capital, relative abundance of goods, overshadowed by the raids of visitors who bought everything in succession, and sometimes recognized for what thing stood a long line, only to be at the counter. The Red Terror, bloody war, Stalin's mass repressions, and voluntarism of Nikita Sergeevich have also sunk to oblivion. The country is stable, it is divided into "supply categories", and in each of them people are used to the degree of satisfaction of needs that is established from above. People live in peace, and the notorious "confidence in the future" is not just empty words, but reality. There is no unemployment, but there is a certain choice between a very small salary of an engineer or a teacher and higher tariff rates of builders or highly skilled workers. The daily program "Time" reports about the steady and progressive movement towards a brighter future. Many believe, but skeptics keep quiet. And among all this idyll suddenly appear dissatisfied. What do they want? Who are they? How did they come to such a life? What do they lack?

Dissidents

Vladimir Bukovsky, a Soviet dissident, spent a lot of time in specialized hospitals. No, he was not suffering from sarcoma or some other serious illness. Doctors tried to make it "normal" (that is, all content), therefore they were subjected to compulsory treatment in psychiatric clinics. It was believed that if a person does not like socialism, then his head is not all right. In fairness, Bukovsky himself admitted that there were indeed a lot of madmen among the dissidents. At the turn of the seventies, the power of the CPSU seemed so strong and unshakable that it was usually not possible to rebel against a normal person. And why? It was impossible to name the unbearable life of Soviet people, most of the citizens of the USSR did not see other benefits, and if the information about the "capitalist paradise" filtered through the "Iron Curtain", then most often they were not particularly trusted, believing that in addition to many varieties of sausage, Some costs. In this, by the way, they, as history showed, were right.

But there were dissidents. And they risked a lot.

"Westerners" in the USSR

The Russian person is inclined to categorical. It appears in recognizing the extreme points of any phenomenon and almost completely ignoring the intermediate states. If in our country something is not as it should be, then abroad, for sure, everything is exactly the opposite. In the conditions of incomplete and one-sided awareness of the population about the life of people in the countries of the West, at least two generations of Soviet people grew up convinced that if capitalism is scolded by us, it means that it is an ideal social order. It is focused and caring for a person, and a fair pay, and commodity abundance, and individual freedom. And the locomotive in the person of the USA heads this bright power. The presence of any other opinion in a certain part of Soviet society meant membership in the party nomenclature, cooperation with the KGB, or simply stupidity. Dissatisfied with life in the USSR, everything American was considered good, and everything Soviet is bad. In fact, this phenomenon was a mirror image of the Soviet agitprop, to the exact opposite. Victims of it often became people with unstable psyche. All the others tried to somehow adapt, understanding some of the inconsistencies in the official political line, but reconciling with them as an inevitable evil.

Family tree

Valeria Novodvorskaya died at the age of sixty-four. And she was born in the late Stalin era, in 1950, in the city of Baranovichi (Belarus). The family was not just ordinary, it can be called exemplary. Both parents are Communists. Dad worked as an engineer. After two or three decades, no one would have seen anything special about this, but in 1950 the presence of a living father was in itself a happiness that many Soviet children did not know. Five years ago the bloodiest war in the whole history of the world ended. Valeria's mother was a doctor.

Revolutionary genes should simply fill every cell of Valeria's body. Great-grandfather was a Smolensk socialist home, the grandfather was a horseman of the First Army of Budyonny. There were other outstanding figures in the family - the governor under Andrei Kurbsky and even the Maltese knight, at least Novodvorskaya herself said so.

The couple was visiting Grandma and Grandpa when the birth occurred. History is silent about the reasons, but it turned out that the education of the girl was mainly engaged in grandmother. The parents, apparently, were very busy.

Education

Growing personality in a country where total collectivism dominated was very difficult. Even talking about a man outstanding, almost every journalist was particularly moved by the fact that "he was like everyone else." This did not always correspond to the truth, but the expression became a common literary stamp. The whole leitmotif of life and even the cause of Valeria Novodvorskaya's death indicate that she "did not want to be like everyone else" since childhood. Her will it became in conscious years, and at the age of five she was taught to read by her grandmother. The silver medal in addition to the school certificate testifies already to own efforts directed on the statement of the person by means of those achievements which were accessible. Fluency in French and German, ability to read in several other languages is also a result of hard work. Not every graduate of the torso is able to demonstrate such knowledge.

Start the fight

Looking at the photos of Valeria Novodvorskaya, made in the nineties and the beginning of the third millennium, it's hard to imagine that at the age of nineteen she was a beautiful girl, but it is so. Quality photographs are few, but for those that have survived, we can judge that the lens is not just a pretty student, but an intelligent and brave person. Personal charm, in all likelihood, largely led to the fact that Valerie managed to attract young people to the underground circle she created, which aims, not much more, for an armed uprising in order to overthrow the power of the Communists. If the case took place less than two decades earlier, Novodvorskaya's death would have come immediately, after a brief trial. In 1969, the Soviet government was more humane.

The first crazy act

A nineteen-year-old beautiful girl gives out hand-written copies of her own poems. "What a delight!" - they would say today. And then, in 1969, when the poets were idols, which are far from today's pop and rock stars, in this very fact there was nothing surprising. If not for two circumstances. Firstly, the verses were anti-Soviet and branded the party, mockingly because of its hatred, shame, denunciations and other accompanying phenomena. Secondly, the distribution took place in the Kremlin Palace of Congresses, on the day of the Constitution of the USSR. Under these circumstances Novodvorskaya could not be arrested simply could not. Immediately there were assumptions that the girl is not quite legally capable. After she told a friend of the KGB Colonel Dunts, the main expert of the Serbsky Institute, that he was actually working in the Gestapo, the diagnosis was deemed confirmed.

Treatment in Kazan

For two years the patient was treated in the Kazan psychiatric clinic for paranoia and schizophrenia (sluggish). The authorities had every opportunity to prevent her from entering freedom, for example, to recognize the patient as incurable. And you could just bring it to the point of exhaustion. Or treat it so that the date of Novodvorskaya's death was not later, for example, in 1972. This is if we accept the version of the dissident himself about the cruel nature of the communist regime. Facts, however, are stubborn.

Fate did not want that Novodvorskaya died in the mental hospital. She survived. About how forced treatment affected her, you can only guess. It is only known that the fighting spirit was not broken.

After leaving the psychiatric hospital (1972), the twenty-two-year-old Valeria Ilinichna immediately again took up the proscribed cases. She distributed printed samizdat materials, and incidentally worked in a sanatorium for children as a teacher. It remains to be surprised at the carelessness of the "executioners from the KGB", who admitted the pedagogical employment of the recently mentally ill. However, Novodvorskaya worked there only for a short time, only two years.

In the intermittency

The next fifteen years, Novodvorskaya struggled with communism, using the methods of the Bolshevik underground. She graduated from the Moscow Pedagogical Institute. Krupskaya (1977), arranged as an interpreter in the Second Medical. And did not abandon attempts to overthrow the hated Soviet power by conspiracy. She was repeatedly detained, arrested and treated. Three trials did not lead to prison imprisonment, demonstrations and rallies organized by her were dispersed. Perhaps, the participants in the actions were subjected to more serious repression, and Novodvorskaya was fined and fined for medical procedures. In the period of Gorbachev's thaw, it became possible to do almost everything, even direct insults to the head of state and the flag of the USSR. After the formation of an autocephalous church in Ukraine, which sets the goal of a split with the Russian Orthodox Church, Novodvorskaya was baptized, becoming a parishioner of the UOC-Kyiv Patriarchate. She did this, obviously, in protest against the Russian Orthodox Church.

Badly without repression?

The lack of attention on the part of the authorities offends the oppositionist. He is not so important political rating, as a fact of his own danger to the ruling elite. This, on the one hand, introduces a certain discomfort, but on the other - gives a sense of self-worth. Struggle becomes meaningful. The reason for Valeria Novodvorskaya's death as a politician was not a small electorate, but a non-serious attitude of the authorities. In recent years, she often complained on the air of the radio station Ekho Moskvy and other media on the misunderstanding of the broad masses of light ideals of democracy. In her opinion, the Russian people are not up to understanding true freedom. She herself dreamed that everything in Russia would be "like in the West." Novodvorskaya died, and did not live to see her cherished desire.

Russophobia and other funny things

Anti-Sovietism gradually grew into Russophobia. In all the conflicts that arose during the post-Soviet period, Novodvorskaya took a defeatist position, repeating the experience of the Bolsheviks who hated her during the First World War.

Are widely known and comic situations. A woman politician then stood with a poster on which it was written: "You are all fools and do not get cured, I'm the only one who is smart in a white coat. " She put on a T-shirt with the slogan "Do not let the Russian". By the way, in the treatment need not fools, and patients. Valery Novodvorskaya should know this for sure.

The cause of death is loneliness

Dissidents in the USSR could not complain about the lack of attention to their health on the part of the state. They were identified in psychiatric hospitals, even when they did not want it.

Ironically, Novodvorskaya died because of improper treatment. No, it's not a mental illness. And the doctors have nothing to do with it, they have not been approached for help until the very last moment. That, why Novodvorskaya died, is much more prosaic. Valeria Ilinichna injured her leg about six months before her death. She tried to heal herself, did not go to the doctor, there was inflammation, which developed into sepsis, also called (before the era of isthmata) contamination of blood. In this inattention to herself is all Novodvorskaya. The cause of death is absurd in the modern metropolis. In Moscow, there are many medical institutions in which they could provide qualified assistance. And in a simple district clinic, the surgeon would treat the wound with all attention, if only Novodvorskaya applied there. The cause of death, however, is not only in phlegmon, but in simple human solitude. There was not a person who insisted on going to the doctor, would have caused the eccentric woman to spend several hours on herself, even at the expense of another rally in defense of Ukraine "offended" by Russia.

Another considered himself a "successful entrepreneur" and "famous politician" Konstantin Borovoi. On the death of Novodvorskaya and the events of the last days of her life, he told correspondents, not forgetting to clarify that he had appointed a diet to his girlfriend, whom she could not stand. According to his version, she is guilty of her own death in approximately the same way as the Odessa citizens burnt in the Trade Union House, which friends chatted cheerfully on air soon after the tragedy.

Perhaps the reason for Valeria Novodvorskaya's death is not a disregard for her health, it is in this case a consequence. Most likely, the dissident was oppressed by the realization of his own uselessness and unclaimedness. And at times it seemed that with her antics she did not propagate the liberal idea, but, rather, repelled from her potential adepts.

Peace be with her.
