Vadim Glukhov. Life and death

There was not in the history of the 90s the domestic musical punk rock band more popular than the "Gaza Strip". Sassy rhythmic songs, in which all the bare truth of life was reflected, alternating with amusing merry tunes, flavored with a good portion of foul language, quickly won the love and recognition of the people. The concerts of the group "Sector Gaza" came whole cities, regions, sang soloist Yuri Hoiu and kayfovali from their favorite songs. The group originated in December 1987 and for the time of its existence has changed several compositions of musicians. The soloist and the founder of "Gaza Strip" Yuri Khoy chose to participate in the group of talented people who became good friends. Guitarists, keyboardists changed several times, but the success of the musical team did not weaken.

Group members

The original composition of the group included, in addition to soloist Yuri Klinsky, drummer Oleg Kryukov, bass guitarist Semyon Titievsky and Sergei Tupikin. In 1991 the guitarist Igor Zhirnov joined the band, and in 1992 Vadim Glukhov, the guitarist who replaced Sergei Tupikin, appeared in the band. Vadim and Yuri were familiar for several years, often intersected in music parties. At that time, Vadim Glukhov worked in the Voronezh Philharmonic, was a professional musician. Yura Khoy suggested that Glukhova play in their team, and Vadim gladly agreed.

Biography of the guitarist

Vadim Glukhov studied music from childhood. In middle school, he mastered the guitar, before his parents bought this instrument, he studied for several years at a music school in violin. The guitarist of the band was not married, had no children, Vadim Gluhov dedicated his life to music - several years of work in the Philharmonic Society was replaced by almost a decade of participation in the "Gas Sector" team. Vadim worked with Yuri Khoy until the very last days of the musician, he was the last friend with whom he saw a soloist before his death.

Life after the tragedy

Vadim Glukhov - the guitarist of the last group - very hard suffered the death of his friend Yuri Khoy. In the career there comes a long break, but for the sake of earnings Vadim plays in the staff of one of the Voronezh singers, writes songs and music. These classes do not bring any special income. Together with former members of the Gaza Strip Igor Anikeev and Yuri Japrintsev, Vadim tries to recreate the previous team and writes new songs for the band, but the guys fail to succeed.

Last years

Yura Khoy died in 2000 in Voronezh, and his friend Vadim Glukhov survived the soloist of "Gaza Strip" for 11 years. The guitarist in the last years of his life was in a serious depression, often quarreled with the domestic, could not find a place. After the departure from the life of Yuri Klinsky many musicians of the group left this world. Vadim Glukhov disappeared in January 2011, he was searched by police, friends and relatives. The members of the guitarist's family told us that Glukhov disappeared suddenly, nobody could name the reasons for his disappearance. The apartment, from which the musician left, was opened, the home phone did not work. It was not immediately possible to find the missing person. His body was discovered only in April 2011 near the military airport in Voronezh. Alongside the stiff corpse, bottles with traces of alcohol and bottles of corvalole were found. Doctors indicated the cause of death as poisoning with poor quality alcohol, although relatives claimed that Vadim did not drink alcohol. The last guitarist of the "Gas Sector" was buried at the Budyonovsky Cemetery. Unfortunately, this is not what Vadim Glukhov asked. The funeral was arranged at the expense of funds collected by fans and fans of the group, and the money was enough only for a place on Budyonovsky, and not next to Yuri Klinsky in the Left-bank cemetery, as Vadim asked, foreseeing his departure from life.
