The novelty of the domestic car industry is "GAZon Next" (technical characteristics)

"GAZon Next", the technical characteristics of which were supposed to exceed the parameters of its predecessor, was developed after the departure of the legendary Bu Anderson, who headed AvtoVAZ. Gradually, with the growth of the economy, the volumes of commercial transportation grew, and the need for larger cars appeared again. The domestic car industry could not provide a full-fledged model that could meet the needs of the population. A free niche was occupied by trucks from South Korea and Japan.

"ZIL" with its "Bychkom" could not make the appropriate competition and gradually became bankrupt. It was then that the leadership of the Nizhny Novgorod plant decided to work on the revival of the once legendary truck.

The first option was Valdai. The new chassis from the GAZ-3307 with the Gazelle cabin did not receive general approval. After further research on consumer demand for this type of equipment, "GAZon Next" was designed. The technical characteristics of the resulting car in many respects surpass predecessors, which will allow us to hope for its popularity in use in the territory of the Commonwealth countries and not only.

Specifications

Two diesel engines to choose from can confidently pick up acceleration and pull a fully loaded car into any mountain. It was this that created "GAZon Next". The feedback of the owners, who have already tried it on their own experience, prove this. One of the powertrains is the domestic YaMZ 53442 with a capacity of 137 horsepower and a volume of 4.43 liters. The second is the imported product of the world famous brand Cummins with the ISF index 3.8 e4R. Its volume is 3.76 liters, and its power is 152 horsepower.

Below are the declared passport data of the novelty "GAZon Next", the technical characteristics of which can be called unique for the domestic production of trucks:

The new "GAZon Next" became the fifth generation of domestic trucks produced at the Gorky Automobile Plant. The model received an individual name, which distinguishes it from its predecessors - "GAZON". In relation to the families it belongs to the series "Next".

The car is assembled on two chassis:

  • "GAZon Next" C41R11 standard;
  • «GAZon Next» C41R31 is elongated.

In addition, in accordance with the current need for a medium-duty truck in different variations, the following modifications were developed.

  • Onboard "GAZon Next" on a short chassis with a three- or seven-seater cabin.
  • "CITY GAZon Next", the technical specifications of which were the same as in the basic configuration. The main difference is the installation of low-profile rubber on the model , which reduces the ground clearance and loading height. The extended base assumes two variants of power units and, as in all cases, two different cabs: two- or three-door.
  • «GAZon Next Farmer». The main difference is the mandatory presence of three doors, as well as a full tilt or metal van in the rear of the car.

Cost in comparison with competitors

Against the background of competitors among manufacturers of medium-duty trucks in comparison of price characteristics, "Gazon" is confidently leading. Its closest competitors - ISUZU NPR 75, Mitsubishi Fuso Canter - stand at 40 percent more expensive. Therefore, the prospects for good sales of our car is. It should be recalled that the cost of "GAZon Next" from official dealers starts from 1,400,000 rubles.
