Childhood and youth

Bu Anderson was born at the beginning of the second half of the XX century, namely on October 16, 1955. The birthplace of this famous person is the beautiful country of Sweden, in particular its southern city of Falkenberg. In this wonderful city he was born and spent all his childhood and youth there. At the age of 19, young Bo Anderson joined the armed forces of Sweden. There he receives military restraint and hardening. It should be noted that in the Military Forces of Sweden he achieved considerable successes, having risen to the rank of major.

Education

Military service did not prevent him from achieving much in education. Boo Anderson is a graduate not only of the Swedish Military Academy, but also has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stockholm University, and he has completed a management program at one of the most prestigious universities in the world, in Harvard.

Career

Work in the automotive industry begins in 1987, at a fairly mature age - at 32 years. The first position he took in this industry was the post of GM manager in matters of joint activity in one of the most famous companies - Saab. After 3 years of work in this position, he is appointed Vice President of Saab in procurement matters. Three years later, in 1993, Anderson again changed his post, returning to the company in which he started his activities - GM. There he becomes a director. His job is to purchase electrical equipment and other electronics. A year later, his duties change again, and he becomes the chief supplier of chemical materials. After several years of hard work in this position, he gets a promotion and becomes vice-president for purchases of GM Europe. This event takes place in 1997, when he is 42 years old, that is, after ten years of work in the field of engineering. Remaining to work in the same company, Bu Anderson changed direction in 1999 and leads the group engaged in international procurement. From spring 2007 until the summer of 2009, Bu Anderson was vice-president of GM Group for procurement and supply chain.

In June 2009, he became an advisor to Oleg Deripaska and became chairman of the board of directors of GAZ Group. It is with this event that his activities begin in the Russian automobile industry.

Activities in Russia

In August 2009, Bu Anderson became president of the GAZ Group. At this post, he pledged to combine the planning strategy of the firm with the superiors of the current operating activities. The management of the company has put before Anderson the following task: to achieve the best parity between such parameters as quality of production and expenses of every possible levels. In the course of its activities, this company was able to introduce a new model line to the market, which fully satisfied the requirements of modern man to the car. Also, the company began to cooperate with the most famous and sought-after foreign manufacturers in this industry, which helped it to strengthen its position in the domestic market and strengthen leadership among light vehicles. Thanks to the activities of Boo Anderson, the company increased its annual income in 2012 by 3.5%, which indicates the huge contribution that it made to the development of this company.

Since in October 2013 Igor Komarov, who used to be the president of AvtoVAZ, is leaving his post, Bu Anderson becomes one of the main contenders for this position. After a brief discussion, it was decided that this post will be taken by Bu Anderson. "VAZ" was now under its complete control, so it was much easier for him to develop this enterprise. It was approved by the board of directors on November 5, and took office on January 13, 2014. He will remain the head of the AvtoVAZ enterprise for the next 3 years, it is through such a term that the president of the company will be re-elected.

Incident with one of the deputies

After some time, after Bu Anderson became president of AvtoVAZ, he had an unpleasant story related to one of the leaders of the shop of the Volga plant, Vladimir Bokk. The fact is that when the president of the company did an inspection, he did not like the fact that workers smoke around their jobs and leave cigarette butts there. He complained to Vladimir Bokk, who did not want to listen to his opinion, after which there was a verbal skirmish, as a result of which Bu Anderson fought with Bocq. Employees of the plant did not give any comments on this score, so the true picture of what happened is very blurred. So unpleasant intrudent was very upset Bu Anderson. His family supported him, and this gave his results: in a couple of days he completely recovered from what had happened.

Awards and titles

• In 2012, Bou Anderson becomes Honorary Consul of Sweden in Nizhny Novgorod.
• In the same year, he receives the award "For Excellence", awarded to him by the Automotive Supply Chain magazine for the successes that he achieved with the restoration of the GAZ Group.
• In June 2013 he became an honorary citizen of Nizhny Novgorod. He was awarded this title for his enormous contribution to the city's economy, the transformations carried out at the Gorky Automobile Plant, and the strengthening of his authority among other Russian enterprises.
• Was recognized as the "Best Manager of 2010" in the Russian automotive industry at the international forum in memory of Adam Smith.
