The Genesis of Philosophy as an Integrated Problem

This problem is not an aspect of consideration only of historical science or scientology, the problem should be considered much broader, which is explained by the uniqueness of the very phenomenon of philosophy, which contains both the scientific component and the worldly practical, which manifested itself most clearly, for example, at the initial stage of it Becoming.

The historical genesis of philosophy presupposes an answer to the question, when it arose and in what ways developed in the space-time dimension. It is obvious that it is necessary to proceed with the investigation of the genesis of philosophy from an attempt to understand those civilizational parameters that characterized society at the time of the onset of this phenomenon. And this moment coincides in time with the fact that the contradictions of social life and natural cognition of being could no longer be resolved by traditional methods at that time. Spatial connection draws our attention to Ancient Greece, where these contradictions manifested themselves to the greatest extent, and therefore the genesis of philosophy in ancient Greece should be regarded as the starting point of our analysis.

In fact, the emergence and development of philosophy forms the need to draw a clear boundary between those phenomena of life that are generally recognized as truth, and those that cause doubt and can not be verified by the resources available at the moment. That is why philosophy as a system of views and thoughts arises on the basis of criticism of the traditional speculations that have developed before it, reflecting the being of man and nature, she herself criticizes tradition and custom, offering not only a new view of things, but also a new tool that shapes this view. This is evident from the fact that the very first Greek philosophers were, first of all, critics of the mythological culture of Greece, finding in it a logical inconsistency (often absurdity) and immorality. It should be noted, however, that this criticism did not mean that these philosophers finally tore up any links with the mythological worldview, they simply grew out of the narrow framework of mythology and offered society a more expanded view of what is. The genesis of philosophy probably contains this transition as one of the most dramatic pages, because not only the perception of the world by a single person changed, but also the cultural, moral, political and legal forms of organization of people's lives changed.

The emerging and increasingly deepening conflict between traditional forms of understanding the world and knowledge and a new, philosophical type of thinking becomes that revolutionary impetus, a motive that drives people to try to give the existing world a new justification and explanation.

In the ancient Greek society, the genesis of philosophy begins when the customary system of life, its interpretation and justification, is threatened. People not only can not explain everything according to old standards, for example, good and evil, but they can no longer live according to old standards and patterns, guided by old values. This state is comparable to the deepest mental crisis (with reference to Greece, this crisis was resolved by the formation of a fundamentally new civilizational phenomenon - the Hellenistic culture), when identification marks for people are lost in virtually all spheres of their life activity. For example, in the 6th century BC virtually all the pillars of its traditional socialism are being destroyed in Greece, based on the visible boundaries of class division, which was fixed by the ideology of that time - by myths.

A completely different interpretation of the economic organization of society was required, since slave labor had sufficiently demonstrated its hopelessness. Politics has ceased to be interpreted as a given of the gods, but was regarded as "the work of human hands." Naturally, all these phenomena contributed to the destruction of old forms of communication in society and offered him new tools and samples of self-organization.

In the field of thinking and knowledge, there is a decisive rejection of the imagery and metaphoricity inherent in myths. Thinking becomes rational, its operational side is filled with concepts and categories. And, thus, gradually, philosophy becomes the dominant type of consciousness and worldview, including the elements of mythology only as a part of it.
