Oleg Ryaskov began his film career as a producer, screenwriter and director in the 90's. First he shot documentary films (for example, "Secrets of the Century") and music films. And then I tried my hand at serious direction, taking together with Alexei Pimanov a military film "Alexander Garden."

Immediately after the "Alexander Garden," Ryaskov began filming the film "Servant of the Sovereign", which stretched for 2.5 years. For this film, the director was nominated for an MTV award in 2008. Short story

The film "Servant of the Sovereigns", whose actors and roles will not leave indifferent even the most demanding viewer, begins in France. For the heart of a beautiful lady, two French nobles fight in a duel. Everything ends well, but King Louis XIV can not leave the actions of two subjects unpunished.

The French monarch just needs dedicated spies at the courts of the Russian king and the Swedish king who are at war with each other. Here is the king and sends the Chevalier de Breze with letters to Peter the Great, and de la Bush to Charles XII. Once in the thick of military events, the two French nobles will have to fight on different sides of the barricade and learn all the difficulties and deprivations of war.

According to the plot of the film, the Chevalier Charles de Breze goes with letters to Tsar Peter the Great, but in fact must constantly report to his monarch about everything that happens at the rate of the Russian emperor.

On the way to Russia on de Breze attack Polish robbers, and in this difficult situation he comes to the aid of a Russian guard named Grigory Voronov. From now on, the Frenchman and the Russian will often have to fight shoulder to shoulder, saving their lives. They are destined to become friends: the Frenchman after the death of Voronov in the battle of Poltava adopts his children and takes him to France. Thus ends the film "Servant of the Sovereign".

Actors Dmitry Miller and Alexander Bukharov, who played the main roles in the film, do not really appear in such large-scale projects. That's why for the serial actor Dmitry Miller, participation in such a picture is a great success. But the "Servant of the Tsar" had almost no influence on the career of the artist: to this day he can be seen only in serials ("Sklifosovsky", "Eighties", etc.).
