The actor was born on October 30, 1957 in San Francisco, California. Artistic abilities opened up in his teens and began to develop at a rapid pace. At the age of ten, Kevin Pollack began singing songs of his idol Bill Cosby. Especially he succeeded in singing to the soundtrack.

At 24, Kevin Pollack took part in the Comedy Competition, held in San Francisco, where he took second place and received the first prize in life. As a result of the competition, he was offered a tour together with a group of comedic actors. Returning, Kevin moved to Los Angeles and began to perform in various comedy clubs, improving in the skill of reincarnation. In his work, he focused on the genre of parody, and the favorite comic characters for a long time were Peter Falk and William Shatner.

The first film with Pollack

In the movie, Kevin made his debut in 1987, playing a small role in the film "The Millionaire's Millionaire" by Richard Fleischer. The character of Quinn's officer was a success to Pollack, and the following year he starred in the television series "Mature Age." This time Kevin played the indisputable head of the Association of Retired Persons. During the production of the actor wrote several scenarios.

On the big screen Kevin Pollack returned in 1988. Together with comedian Overton Rick played a duet in the fantasy film "Willow." After this film, the producers and directors appreciated the actor's creative potential, and he began receiving invitations to participate in major film projects. In 1991, Kevin Pollack played agent Stevie Martin in the Los Angeles story, and a year later he played the role of Lieutenant Sam Weinberg in the detective drama directed by Bob Rainer's "A few good guys." In this film, the actor met with Hollywood stars of the first magnitude Demi Moore and Tom Cruise.

Starring roles

A noticeable shift towards success for Pollack occurred in 1995. He starred in the role of a dishonorable husband in a comedy titled "Rhapsody of Miami", the film had a deafening resonance. The actor instantly became a star. His next role in the film "Conventional suspects," the character of the illegitimate child added to Kevin's popularity. And, finally, the image of the frontman, created by the actor in Martin Scorsese's "Casino", was the last stroke in the happy image of Pollack.

"Nine yards" and other films

In subsequent years, the actor played minor roles in low-budget films, his comedy role turned into a fragile vessel, caught in the stormy waves of American cinema. Kevin Pollack, whose growth was only 1.65 meters, was finding it harder to use. And, in the end, the film sets of major film projects were closed to him.
