The medication is not prescribed to patients after forty years (for a long time), with ulcerative colitis, liver failure, myasthenia gravis. The drug is not recommended for dry mouth, chronic pulmonary pathologies (especially in weakened patients and young children), autonomic neuropathy. Contraindications include hypertrophy of the prostate without obstructive lesions of the urinary tract, presence of a delay in urination and predisposition to it, brain trauma and central paralysis in children, gestosis, Down's disease.

The drug "Platyphylline" is not recommended for pregnancy. In the first trimester, the use is prohibited. In subsequent periods - only on the advice and under the supervision of a doctor. If a medication is prescribed to a nursing woman, she should be warned about the need to stop lactation.

Among the side effects of medication specialists call cramps, photophobia, headache, dizziness, intestinal atony, mydriasis. The use of the drug "Platyphylline" can trigger a decrease in blood pressure, thirst, acute psychosis, urinary retention, lung atelectasis.

Injections are made once or twice a day.
