Tahyan with chicken: description and ways of cooking

Dishes of Oriental cuisine, as a rule, have rather unusual names. Nevertheless, many of them, as practice shows, are not difficult to prepare at all. Take, for example, tahan with chicken. In fact, it is an analogue of Uzbek pilaf. It is rice with vegetables, fried in soy sauce, to which technology has also added poultry meat. Depending on the set of initial ingredients, several methods for its preparation are known.

Japanese pilaf with chicken

For the countries of East Asia, tijan with chicken is a traditional dish. In it you can feel the incomparable spirit of the famous Japanese cuisine. Usually local chefs prepare tahyan with chicken using the following set of products:

On a glass of rice 2 chicken fillets, onion, 1 zucchini, a paprika pod, a little salt, 100 grams of soy sauce and a handful of sesame seeds.

Preparation of such a dish is the following:

  1. Boil the rice. For this, the rump should be rinsed, covered in a pan, filled with water and put on fire. There is one subtlety here. Some chefs add soy sauce immediately when cooking. So rice has time to soak better, and the dish turns out more fragrant. In this case, sauce and water should be taken in a ratio of 2: 1.
  2. Chicken fillets randomly cut into pieces and put it in a frying pan.
  3. Add the chopped onion, stir and simmer for a while on low heat.
  4. Pepper cut into thin slices, and zucchini - cubes.
  5. Add them to the frying pan and simmer until the vegetables are softer.
  6. Introduce soy sauce (if it is not added when cooking the cereals).
  7. Combine rice with chicken and stewed vegetables. Lovers can add some more sauce to taste.
  8. Sprinkle the prepared dish with sesame and mix.

It turns out a real Japanese tahan with a chicken. This dish is very fragrant, satisfying and unusually tasty.

Tahan with egg

The Chinese in their own way are preparing tijan with chicken, a recipe that differs slightly from the Japanese version. Here, an omelet is added to the meat with rice and vegetables. It turns out quite an unusual combination. But the taste of this dish is not inferior to its counterparts. It usually requires:

2 chicken fillets, a glass of rice, 4 grams of sugar, 1 sweet pepper, a pinch of salt, 2 eggs, a teaspoon of ginger root, a little ground pepper, 200 grams of string beans, 2 spring onions and 2 tablespoons soy sauce.

The cooking process is extremely simple:

  1. First, the rice should be thoroughly rinsed, and then put it in a saucepan and add water. And the liquid should be a couple of centimeters above the cereal.
  2. Boil it on a small fire for 7 minutes, and then remove the pan from the plate and let the rice stand under the lid for about a quarter of an hour.
  3. Cut the meat into small pieces and fry it in a pan with a little oil (preferably without smell).
  4. Sprinkle it with salt and pepper, and then transfer to a clean plate, where it is mixed with chopped ginger and green onions.
  5. In the same frying pan for 5-6 minutes fry rice with beans and chopped rice cubes.
  6. Processed foods add to the meat.
  7. Eggs beat with water (20 grams). The resulting mass is poured into a frying pan and warmed slightly, constantly stirring with a spatula.
  8. Here, shift the meat and rice with vegetables.
  9. All together fry for 3 minutes with the addition of sugar and sauce.

The dish, as a rule, is still hot laid out on lettuce leaves or in individual serving cups. Before serving, it can be sprinkled with crushed fresh herbs or fried sesame seeds. The result is simply an amazing tahan with a chicken. The recipe is good because the rice does not stick together, but remains crumbly. And during processing it is slightly baked and acquires a pleasant yellowish color.

Simplified version

In order to learn how to properly prepare tahan with chicken and vegetables, it is better to first take a minimum set of products. All other ingredients can be additionally introduced after it is possible to master the process itself. For a simplified version of the truck, you will need:

For 0.5 kg rice 2 eggs, salt, 200 grams chicken fillet, 2 pods of sweet Bulgarian pepper, 1 onion, 50-65 grams of vegetable oil, ground pepper, fresh herbs (dill, lettuce, parsley) and 3 teaspoons soy Sauce.

The whole process can be divided into several stages:

  1. First the rice should be rinsed well, and then cook it without adding salt for 7 minutes.
  2. Vegetables and meat cut into cubes. In this form, the products will better retain their shape after treatment.
  3. Vegetables fry in oil until a ruddy crust.
  4. Add fillets to them and repeat the process.
  5. Eggs beat with water (1 tablespoon), and then fry the mixture separately in another pan. The mass must be constantly mixed with a spatula, to make small lumps.
  6. Combine all the products together and fry them for 3 minutes.

Serve this dish on a salad leaf. It will look very impressive. And the taste is sure to be appreciated.

Holiday of vegetables

For the inhabitants of the East Asian countries, rice is the main product. Tahyan is just one of the many ways to prepare it. Fans of vegetables can add to the meat in the recipe practically everything that they have in the refrigerator. For example, consider a very interesting option, which will require the following ingredients:

400 grams of rice 1 onion, 150 grams of chicken fillet, 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 50 grams of green peas, canned corn and green beans, 2 cloves of garlic, 10 grams of sesame seeds, 1 pod of sweet pepper, 70 grams of vegetable oil, 50 grams of rice Grams of fresh ginger and 2 tablespoons of sesame oil.

The dish is prepared in stages:

  1. First you need to do rice. For this, the rump should be thoroughly washed, and then boil until half cooked for 6 minutes and strain.
  2. Meat, cut into cubes a little fry in oil.
  3. Add vegetables to it, along with grated ginger and sesame oil. In this case, onions and peppers are also better to crumble with cubes. Stir foods and fry together for a couple of minutes.
  4. Introduce the sauce and simmer for no more than 3 minutes. If necessary, the dish can be slightly salted.
  5. Peas and corn are introduced at the very end.

The prepared tahan before serving is usually decorated with sesame seeds and chopped greens.
