One of the most favorite berries of many gardeners and truck farmers is the strawberry garden growing care which contains several secrets. From mineral fertilizers to one square meter, 30-50 grams of superphosphate, 10-15 grams of ammonium nitrate, 15-30 grams of potassium chloride should be added. All fertilizers are distributed evenly over the site and dug into one bayonet.

You can plant strawberries in the spring until May 10, and in late summer - until August 20. If you plant strawberries in September, it may not overwinter, as it will not have time to prepare for the winter. In the first year of strawberry, the garden will yield a weak crop, but the next two crops will be excellent, then the yield will decrease.

If the seedling is transported over a long distance, the roots are dipped into a clay chatterbox so that they do not dry out, but it is better to cut the cube together with a plant. The cubes are put tightly in a box and transported for a short distance. When planting, you need to ensure that the heart of the plant is not filled with earth.

Some gardeners practice growing strawberries from seeds, which also gives good results. Seed can be sown already in January, if there is the possibility of lightening by artificial light. And you can postpone the sowing until the middle of spring, when there is enough natural light.

Growing strawberries in greenhouses will allow you to harvest berries almost a month ahead of time. Very effective can be a floor method of cultivation, which is also called vertical. In this method, the trays or containers with plants are arranged vertically along the walls. However, it is worth noting that in this case it is possible to achieve uniformity in illumination only with the use of artificial light.
