"Square of three stations" in Moscow. Wherever they come from all over Russia and the CIS

Where are all the people who live together not only on the territory of the Russian state but also near abroad gather together? It is in the capital of Russia, or to be more precise, in a place called the "Square of three stations". In Moscow, almost everyone knows where it is. Why did Muscovites and guests of the capital call this place? Where can I go and where do I come to find myself here?

The guests of the capital and local residents say that Komsomolskaya Square has a unique atmosphere . Three stations are located on it: Kazan, Yaroslavl and Leningrad.

Which station should I go to?

From time to time in the subway you can hear, for example, such a question, on which station to go out to get to the Yaroslavsky railway station? In the Moscow metro, for respected passengers, a train informer at the Komsomolskaya station, both Koltsevskaya and Sokolnicheskaya, announces that there is a "Square of three stations" on the surface. Which stations are on it, almost all residents and visitors of the capital know.

To get to the Leningrad and Yaroslavl stations, it's best to go along the Koltsevaya Line to Komsomolskaya Station, because the exit to this station is located right here. But to get to Kazan, you need to go on the transition. The path will be long, as it is necessary to overcome two escalators, two long junctions. From time to time, there is a repair of the ski lifts, in connection with which they close the exit to the city and passengers are asked to use the passage. To not be late for the train, it's better to arrive about an hour before departure.

Kazan Station

It is here that you can meet people of different nationalities, faith, traditions: Russians, Georgians, Tatars. It's an ordinary thing, because Kazan Station is never empty. There are always a lot of people here, there are always queues for the inspection of personal belongings, all the seats in the waiting room are occupied. Sometimes it creates a feeling that people never leave them.

"The area of three stations" in Moscow is considered the most active in the city. Even in airports there is no such flow of passengers.

From this station you can go not only to Sochi or Voronezh, but also to Makhachkala, Nazran. From here Muscovites go to rest to the south, closer to the sea. Scheduled commuter trains leave the station. Cash desks and access to the platform are on the same territory as platforms with long-distance trains. By train, you can come to the beautiful city of the Moscow region of Kolomna, visit the Golutvin Monastery.

Leningrad Station

It is considered the most prestigious in Moscow. Most often you can meet businessmen, students and just cultural people.

Why does Leningrad Station seem so businesslike compared to Kazan? Because people go to St. Petersburg, Murmansk and even to the capital of Finland - Helsinki, there are trains and to Pskov.

From here, too, trains run. Their final station is the city of Tver. The Leningrad railway station belongs to the October Railway, which is the very first in tsarist Russia. It was with her that the development of the railway network began.

Yaroslavsky Railway Station

This is the most humble corner, which has the "Square of three stations" in Moscow. In comparison with the Kazan and Leningrad stations, there is not such a large passenger traffic for long-distance trains. Suburban traffic, on the contrary, is full of destinations. Here you can take a ticket and drive to Ivanteyevka, all beloved Sergiev Posad and to the Queen.

Long-distance trains, despite a small number, have very long and interesting routes. It is from this station you can go to the most extreme Russian city of Vladivostok. Famous BAM meets passengers on their way to Lake Baikal. What amazing views open from the windows of the train. On the way to the north-east and east, the border between Europe and Asia - the Ural Mountains - will be visible.

Initially, the Yaroslavl station was called the North Station, because the trains followed mainly to the cities of the Russian North. Now there are more directions.

Note to passengers

It must be remembered that arrival in Moscow in the early hours is undesirable for the "Square of three stations". The metro opens only at 5.35. People stand in the transition, the waiting room is full. Sitting on suitcases somewhere in the aisle will not work. And on the street, most likely, it's cold. In the summer, on the contrary, there is intense heat in the center of Moscow. It is best to come to the capital before 23.00 or after 5.30.

It is recommended to be cautious and prudent. All the valuable things you need to keep to yourself. In no case can not respond to suspicious requests and not leave their suitcases.

In conclusion, we can say that the "Square of three stations" in Moscow is not only a famous place in the Russian capital, but also a landmark. It is often driven by foreign tourists, who tell a story, show architecture. Indigenous Muscovites always tell you how to get to the Leningrad, Yaroslavl and Kazan railway stations.
