Spanish Valencia: sights of the past and modern
South-east of Spain, the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. Along it stretched the ancient city of Valencia, the third largest in the state. Also called the autonomous region, the edge of excellent sandy beaches and sea resorts. The climate to this more than has: the mountains serve as a reliable protection against cold winds, because in summer there is +30 or degrees-two higher, in winter it is not colder +20. A true earthly paradise, considering the growing groves of citrus and date, bright juicy greens, wonderful flowers, many of which are exotic. By the way, the peasants here harvest crops several times a year - is not it a sign of the blessed land of God!
To tourists on a note

However, the true wealth of the city is different. Valencia attractions of the past centuries generously presents its guests. After all, it was founded in the second century AD, was considered a Roman colony of the ancient era. And every subsequent century made its contribution, creating a unique image of the city.
Another cultural center is the Royal Square and the main Cathedral before it. Until the 13th century there was a mosque where they sent their prayers to the Moors. Then, for five centuries, the Cathedral was built here. From the highest of its bell-towers you can see the whole city - it is harder to imagine a miraculous sight. But, more importantly, it is in this building that the greatest shrine of the Christian world is stored - the Holy Grail, brought here in the 15th century.
Valencia, the sights of the first steps of Christianity on its territory demonstrate in the form of the Criptus of Saint Vincent, a martyr cruelly injured for the faith. This unremarkable chapel magnet attracts Catholics from all over the Old and New World. Unique building not only by age, but also by the style of construction - the Visigothic - such in the world can be counted on the fingers. And inside the chapel, pilgrims and tourists can touch the crypt with the ashes of a saint - they say, stones have a healing power.
Valencia, Spain, attractions ... So, clicking on the tongues, laconically speak connoisseurs, when they are mentioned about the Cathedral of La Seo, the gates of Torres de Serrano, Capella Santo Calice. Behind every name are the Epoch and History, revived in stone, frescoes, paintings. Everyone, and not only about these, but also other monuments can speak for an infinitely long time. And they are worth it, believe me! For example, the building of the Seminary, now a museum, conceals in its walls the invaluable tapestries of Flemish and Brussels masters, weavers, as well as the paintings of famous Spanish artists. Truly, this earth has something to be proud of!
The Spaniards are a hospitable people. Therefore, Valencia hotels are trying to have their own hotels on such streets, so that tourists can easily get to the central districts of the city, and to its outskirts. Tourism - one of the main items of income to the treasury, but because in this plan, both in the city and in the province everything is at the highest level.
Welcome to Valencia!
