Sodium tetraborate: instructions for use

First of all, it should be noted that the drug should be prescribed only by the attending physician. The method of using it directly depends on the nature of the disease. For example, with diseases of the oral cavity and upper respiratory tract, it is recommended to lubricate the mucosa with a solution approximately twice a day. The course of treatment can last from three to seven days.

If the drug is used in the treatment of vaginal candidiasis, a slightly different way of using is provided. Then it should be moistened with a cotton swab in the solution and put into the vagina for about half an hour. This procedure is best done before bedtime. In severe disease, it is necessary to use the solution twice a day. The average duration of treatment is a week.
