Pension certificate: a document confirming the status

A certificate is a document confirming any rights of its owner. For example, the identification to any breastplate confirms certain merits and rewarding this sign. Or a travel document issued in the case of sending an employee on a business trip. In this paper, the places of stay and the dates of the trip are indicated. The fact of the appointment of a pensioner to the citizen confirms the pension certificate.

This document (on the first page) indicates the authority that issued it, the number of the certificate, information about the recipient - the surname, first name, patronymic with the indication of his year of birth, the signature of the recipient. On the second page, in the form of an emphasis on a particular word combination, the justification for the fact that a pension is granted and a reference to an article of the relevant legislation in force is provided. For example, a pension is prescribed for old age (for life), for disability, with the loss of a breadwinner. Indicates (in rubles) the average monthly earnings, based on which the amount of the designated pension is determined. The pension certificate on the second page has information about the timing of the appointment of a pension, the designation of when it was issued, the signature of the issuer, and sealed. The third page is filled in when the supplement to the pension for family members is charged. Here the surnames, names and patronymics of the parents are recorded, the dates of their birth, their relationship to the pensioner, the disability group, if any. Information is certified by the signature of the person who issued the pension certificate. The fourth page is reserved for the notes on the extension of the terms of the pension. The fifth page is for special notation. The sixth page contains a brief memo for pensioners. In particular, he must notify the social security department that he has entered the workforce, changes in the composition of the dependents, and the placement of children in state support. The actions of the pensioner are explained when the permanent place of residence is changed.

The pension certificate is shown where it is necessary to confirm the status of a pensioner: when receiving benefits, in public transport (if there is a corresponding ticket), in some pharmacies and stores that make a pension for the pensioners a discount on the cost of the products sold. Sometimes, together with a pension certificate, a passport must be presented, since the identity card does not contain a photograph of its owner.

The document is issued at the appointment of a pension by the Pension Board at the place of registration (registration). Employees of the Pension Fund management are required to explain what documents are submitted by a citizen for the purpose of granting a pension and obtaining in support of this certificate. It should be noted that the pensioner must receive the pension certificate himself, or the document is issued to another person on the basis of a notarized power of attorney (guardians, parents (for minors or incompetent persons)). The issue of paper is recorded with the signature of the recipient in the accounting book.

Restoration of the pension certificate (in case of loss of the document or its damage) is managed by the Pension Fund at the place of residence of the pensioner on the basis of the application. Forgery of the document is criminally punishable. At the death of a pensioner, his certificate must be handed in to the Pension Fund, to which it was issued. If the type of pension has changed, the citizen receives a new certificate, and the old one is withdrawn by the Pension Fund.
