Society and nature, their interconnection and interaction problems

Society and nature - this is a certain symbiosis, and society here still has a parasitic role, because initially a person came to everything ready. Nature is many billion years older than even the most ancient ancestor of man. Miraculously adjusted system of interaction of living beings and did not want rough intervention from the side of a rational subject.

Initially, like all living things, man is part of nature. But at a certain stage he separated himself from her. Did not that happen then, when he picked up a stick to get his own food? But monkeys also use simple tools, thanks to the structure of limbs and rudiments of thinking, but one can not say that they modify nature. Apparently, once an ancient man behaved this way . Whereas ordinary monkeys are a dead-end branch, so do not expect that someday a new species of Homo Sapiens will appear in the same way. The present primates in the eyes of man are also only part of the natural environment.

In general, one can speak of nature in two aspects. In a broad sense, it is a philosophical phenomenon, the essence of something. The narrow concept of nature defines it and all the processes that take place in it, as a natural environment. Whether the wind is blowing, whether the rain is falling, whether the plant is blooming, whether the baby is born - all these are phenomena of nature, both living and non-living. Animals act by obeying instincts, whereas a member of a civilized society can not afford such a "luxury". So how much man really separated from nature? Does he have the right to oppose himself to the natural environment? The society has taken too much on nature, forgetting how it depends on it.

The capacious phrase "Nature is not a temple, but a workshop" reflects the consumer attitude of mankind to the natural environment. Society and nature can coexist harmoniously only if there is a rethinking of values at the level of both society and each person. At the global level, air and water pollution occurs, extermination in a large number of animals, depletion of resources. At the level of a specific person, these are garbage dumps in the forest after picnics, draining waste into rivers and lakes, illegal hunting.

Someone will object that society and the benefit of nature brings. Rare species of animals and plants listed in the Red Book are carefully protected from extinction; Dry and old trees are cut down to give life to the young; Is assisted by whales who have thrown ashore. But is this really such help? First, many problems are caused by human activity, and secondly, nature itself knows how it will be better for it, because it has intelligence (not in the usual sense for man, but in another, intuitive). Naturally, without human intervention, new species of living organisms became extinct and appeared, the number of animals was regulated, natural selection left strong and healthy individuals. Society and nature will never be able to harmonize as perfectly as nature itself is perfect.

Civilization does not stand still, development is proceeding at a grandiose pace. It is difficult to say what the future holds for humanity in the next few centuries or even decades. If we assume the most optimistic option that a global catastrophe will pass the Earth, that people will come to their senses and cease destroying the surrounding world, there will be problems of a different plan. Residents of large cities move away from their natural habitat. They buy country houses and rest for high fences. They go out into the woods and go fishing, but get there and back by car. Gradually nature in human life will become only a decoration, like a 3D movie or a computer game.
