Do you know which country has the title "The cleanest country in the world"?

It is well known to all the inhabitants of the Earth that the human longevity is in direct connection with its way of life and the state of the environment. If every person can choose their way of life and adjust for themselves, then it is unlikely to change the state of the environment in a single state alone. Unfortunately, to the question: "What is the purest country in the world?", You will not hear the word "Russia" in response. Despite the fact that ecologists predict a significant improvement of the ecological situation on the territory of our country, it is unlikely that we will soon see it in the first place among the countries leading in the protection of the environment.

A group of European scientists conducted large-scale research to identify the most environmentally friendly countries in the world. The results were published in the journal Forbes.

The state of the state ecology was assessed according to 25 criteria, starting from the quality of air and water, and ending with the use of pesticides and other harmful substances in agriculture. As research has shown, the cleanest states on the planet Earth are located on the European continent.

Switzerland topped the rating under the title "The cleanest country in the world", ranking first in the list. Why Switzerland? And all because among the countries located on the territory of Central Europe, this state has become the only one that has shown a 100% result in such indicators as forest health, water quality, sewage and restriction on the use of pesticides. According to experts, in Switzerland, the life expectancy of an average of 81 years is due to the excellent state of the environment.

The question is, how did the Swiss manage to achieve such impressive results?

Switzerland today is not only the cleanest country in the world, it is also the champion in secondary recycling: more than 75% of all wastes suitable for processing come to the plants for re-utilization. In addition, Switzerland today is not only the cleanest country in the world, it is least dependent on the supply of combustible fuel, since the authorities consider it priority to use only renewable natural resources that are least harmless to the environment.

Perhaps the very fact that the current cleanest country in the world is two thirds of forests, mountains and lakes (and most of Switzerland's natural resources are forced to import), makes local authorities and the population pay respect and gratitude to what nature gives them .

As for Russia, it has taken the last place in the purification and protection of the environment among more than 30 states, due to progressive deterioration not only in this field, but also due to excessive fishing and loss of forest areas (the period 2000-2010 Years).

It turns out that in the whole world, where people are increasingly talking about the possible shortage of food and water resources, they understand that their quantity depends directly on how a person will relate to the surrounding nature in the future. And only in Russia, where the natural resources are still abundant, the government and ordinary citizens are firmly convinced that all talk about protecting nature is the destiny of "crazy greens" or the innocent entertainment of the rich, and the vital resources of our vast Homeland will never end .
