Significant - what does it mean to be in the first place?

Why is something that is important and significant for one person - words, deeds, events, others are perceived indifferently? Are there unifying notions of significance and where does the boundary of objectivity end and the subjectivity of the interested individual begins?

The notion of significance, in general

The significance of something for a person can not be attributed to individual preferences, since far from all the decisive events in our life, or people whose importance we need to be aware of, belong to something carefully stored in the heart. Significant (which means, highlighted by a halo of importance) retains this status only a strictly defined period and can not serve as an eternal concept. An exception is the imposition of personal inclinations of man on factors of the external environment.

What does meaningful event mean for a person? First of all, this is your own benefit. Importance simply can not exist by itself without evaluating a reimbursing criterion that compensates for all related experiences and possible victims.

Let us repeat, in any of the named values, the decisive moment of choice is the benefit - material, aesthetic, emotional or other plan.

Analysis of significance determination

The intensity of the desire to achieve the goal determines the level of significance. But here there is an aspect of the physiological or psychoemotional fact of the desired, which means the needs of the body or soul. The body needs, related to many significant aspects, are always unconsciously brought to the first level.

Generally, desire is a controversial thing about the significance of true, because often the subjectivity of evaluation brings a person, substituting false needs in the guise of primary. Hardly 70% of our desires can survive a sober analysis by definition of necessity.
